"Are you OK?" Are you sick?"
No, Marley thought, that's just my mind... It's playing a trick on me.
"Take care and you'll be fine"
"Take the pills, you'll be happy."
"Shut up", she whispered.
"Be careful, Be happy"
"No shut up. Be quiet"
"Go crazy, Lose it"
"Shut up! Don't make me call HER" Marley shouted without a second thought as to where she was.
"Marley? Marley!"
Marley jolted up in a frantic attempt to act normal like she was a asleep. But who do you know that sleeps while appearing to not be at all? The teacher stood next to the strange little girl; more disturbed than worried about her. He had a reason to be.
"Marley... who were you talking to?" The teacher looked towards the back of the class, half expecting to see a ghost.
Marley looked around the classroom. Up; down; side to side. Almost as if completely avoiding the teachers question; as if the classroom walls were closing in on her.
"Marley. Calm down. You're-"
"Blank. Just like these walls. Just like those walls."
The teacher, speechless. The classroom, silent.
"Yes. Just like that place again. Oh sweet agony. "
