~Grace's P.O.V.~

"Space, it's so beautiful, the elegance, and story of why, I love space, OH THAT'S SO COOO-O-O-O-OOOL SO COOO-O-O-O-OOOL, my computer can't handle the renderi-" I hit the button on my phone to cut off my alarm as I sat up and stretched.

I slowly and quietly headed to the kitchen to get my morning coffee because I can't function in the morning without it. I went to the cupboard to get out the coffee beans, quickly realizing we were out. I glanced into the living room to see if Andrew was still passed out from his episode the night before.

No surprise, he was.

I headed back to my room to get ready to go to the store, thanks to our deprivation of coffee, and be back before Andrew woke up. I went into the bathroom to put my makeup on only to see the bruise he put on my face from last night.

"Crap." I whispered to myself putting concealer on the bruise wincing at the slight pain. I quickly finished up the rest of my makeup then slowly making my way to the front door. I opened the door accidentally hitting a new neighbor in the face.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" I asked concerned for the man I had just whacked with the door. He slowly turned his head.

"Yeah, I'm fine." he said with a busted lip. The voice sounded a little too familiar.

"I busted your lip, can I do anything? I feel so horrible." I said realizing who it was, biting my tongue to not say anything.

'Omg I just busted Markipliers lip with my door.' I thought to myself. I started to freak out. 'It's amazing I got to meet him but I don't want him to know I know who he is. I don't want to be a fan to him, I want us to be friends. Why am I so stupid? I see why Andrew is the only one good enough to put up with me.'

"Don't worry it's fine. You seem to be in a hurry, sorry I got in your way." He said with a slight chuckle.

"No, no, it's fine. I was just heading to the store to go pick up some more coffee."

"Could I walk with you?" He asked with a smile. "It'd be nice to get to know my new neighbor. "

"Sure." I replied. Was my freak out showing? I'm just gonna say nah for personal comfort...surely it was fine.

"My name is Mark, by the way."

"Grace."

"Looks like your name really reflects your personality!" He said sarcastically.

"Stop," I said laughing,"I said I was sorry and I already feel awful!"

"I'm just playing!" He said, playfully nudging my arm. "Hey
Ethan, Tyler!"

"Yeah Mark!" The blue haired Ethan yelled back as Tyler looked up from unloading the movers truck.

"I'm walking with my new neighbor Grace to go get some coffee!" He told them.

"But CRANKIPLIER!!!!" Tyler yelled as Ethan ran over to tackle him.

"Lets go before Tythan starts coming out of the closet..." Mark said with a giggle that has always brightened up my day, no matter how bad it had been.

I laughed with him.

"So where are we heading to?" He questioned. "Duncan Doughnuts, Seeds, Starbucks?"

"Wal-Mart'." I said with a giggle.

"Lets go to Starbucks instead, you can be a typical white girl."

"Whatever you say!" I said, still giggling.

When we got to Starbucks, Mark ordered first.

"Hi," He said with a polite tone. "I would like a venti double chocolate chip frap"

I snorted a little too loud at the 'frap' part. Luckily, he didn't hear me as he continued with his order.

"with two pumps of mint please." he looked back at me after he ordered. "I will pay for her also." He said, referring to me.

I walked up to the cashier.

"And what would you like today?"

"A large black coffee please." I replied with no tone in my voice.

We went to sit down at a table after we got our drinks.

"That was the most boring, lifeless order I have ever heard."
He said.

I snorted with laughter. "And you say I'm the typical white girl." I said with a smirk eyeing his drink.

He gasped. "Yes, I got a manly bitter coffee!" He said, pretending to be offended by what I said. His jaw was dropped and his hand was on his chest.

"Mark, don't deny it, just looking at it gives me a cavity."

We finished our coffees (and marks cup of sugar that he called coffee) and started heading back.

"I had a good time, I hope we can hang out again!" He said with a smile.

"You can count on it!" I said.

He walked back into his apartment with the obvious shouts from Ethan and Tyler questioning repeatedly, "HOW'D IT GO? HOW'D IT GO??"

I giggled slightly, turning on my heel to face my door. I bit my lip with a smile. How did he make me so happy so easily? How can a person be so beautiful? I swore it was a dream until I stepped back into my apartment.

Andrew stood in front of the door with a shattered bottle of whiskey on the floor behind him. He held a can of beer in his hand. His face was laced with anger. His dark brown eyes screamed a terrifying, not-so-subtle, hint of the terrorising thoughts he was stirring in the silence.

That's when I realized it wasn't a dream.
