Chapter 8- The New Guy

I decided to head down to the skatepark.
I got changed into my Nike SB shoes ripped skinny jeans, a crop top and my Nike bag

"Mom I'm heading off to the skatepark"
" with tanner" she questioned
Ugh why does she always have to bring up tanner
"No, cya" I said closing the door behind me.
I started skating towards the skatepark.
When I saw tanners newly wrapped car
It looked amazing! But I'm trying to avoid him.
So I made no eye contact with him when I passed him.
I kicked up my skateboard and walked into the skatepark sitting down on the bench.
A blonde headed boy sat next to me, I've seen him in some of tanners vlogs, but I'm not to sure what his name is
"Hey I'm Jake"
"Oh hey I'm sky"
"So are you just going to sit there or are you going to verse me in a game of skate" Jake said
"I thought you where a scooter kid" I laughed
"I know a few tricks on the skateboard" Jake said with a lot of sass in his voice which made me laugh.
"Well alright then you can start" I giggled
He did his tricks and I did my tricks.
"I won" I yelled
"Damn your really good, are you sponsored" he asked
"Yeah I am" I smiled
"Oh wow nice" he smiled back

Jake's pov
I really like Sky she's so fun the hang out with.
"You should try scooter riding"
"Me, no I can't" she smiled at me
" if You can skate I'm pretty sure you can scooter ride" I smiled
" I don't know maybe in the future you can teach me sometime"she laughed
"Sure can I grab your number" I asked
"Yeah sure" she smiled
Sky's pov
I put my number in Jakes phone as soon as I was putting my number in tanner walked into the skatepark and gave me the biggest death stare.
"You know Tanner" Jake asked
"Yeah that's my best friend, well was" my smile faded
"Are you alright, why did he give you a dirty" he asked
" I don't know, I just need to go somewhere else " I said

Jake grabbed my hand and we started walking towards his car
"Looks like tanners jealous" jake laughed
"Your laughs cute"
" thanks"
"I really said that out loud, that's embarrassing" I giggled.
We hopped into his car and started driving
"Let's go to my house" jake said
I nodded
We finally arrived at his house
I sat down on the couch followed by jake who sat next to me putting his arm around my shoulder. I rested my head on his chest and we talked for hours until we heard a bang on the door
"JAKE OPEN UP, OPEN YOUR FUCKING DOOR" we heard someone yell presuming tanner
"What do you want tanner" I heard Jake say whilst opening the door
"YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY GIRL" tanner yelled
"I'm not your girl" I blurted
Shit why did I do that
"WHY THE HELL IS SHE OVER AT YOUR HOUSE" tanner yelled
His never like this, I started crying
Tanners pov
What have I done, I ran over to her
"Sky I'm sorry"
She ignored me
"Let me take you home" I said grabbing her hand
"Don't touch me" she screamed running over to  Jake wrapping her hands around his waist
"Don't date my friend" I stated
"it's not alright for me to date your friends,but it's totally fine for you to date my friend" she said ripping off the bracelet I bought her and throwing it at me
"No more chances tanner, were done"
