“What is this place?” Bella asked.

“It’s Diagon Alley, it’s a place where wizards buy their school supplies,” Draco answered.

“Why are we here?” Bella questioned.

“We are here to get you your stuff for Hogwarts,” Draco responded.

“I’ll pay for your stuff, and you’ll have to try to get into Slytherin house.”

As they walked to Olivanders to buy Bella a wand they were as quiet as mouse. Draco was trying to calm down; he had feelings for Bella, but didn’t want express them to her. He wanted her in Slytherin, so he could watch over her.

Walking into the store, Bella was surprised when a man greeted her; the man was in his sixties. The man acted like he had known Bella for years, but it was his first time ever seeing her. Bella was confused, and looked at Draco for support.

“Olivander, this is Bella,” Draco said.

“Oh, I see. I also see that she not one of us,” Olivander answered.

“Um… no, but her family tossed her out of their house,” Draco replied.

“Well then in that case, here try this one out,” Olivander said.

Bella politely took the wand out his hand, and flicked it at the flower in the shop. The flower suddenly died, Bella’s weakness as the fairy of all. Her knees buckled under her weight, and she fell. Draco gently lifted her up, and with a simple spell Bella gave the flowers their life, earning her own strength back. Olivander seeing this spectacular sight, dashed to the back to the other end of the store. Getting a wand from there, he came back with a smile on his face.

Bella took it from him, and waved it at the shelves filled with wands. Then the entire shelf was starting topple down on Olivander, but Bella pushed him out of the way. Only to get rewarded by the shelf and wands landing on her.

Draco was devastated, and that the only thing to do was lift the shelf off of her. He wished that he was the one that gotten a shelf slammed on him. His only hope was to find out if Bella was alright. He started to walk to the fallen wand shelf, but then the lights turned off, and the sparkling light appear from under the book shelf.

Bella was using her levitating spell to lift all the rubbish from on her. The shelf went back to its place, and the wands all flew back to there places. She strolled out unharmed, Draco was relaxing still. Olivander was walking back to the back of the store pulling a wand from the shelf. Bella could sense the power from the wand. When Olivander handed it to her, she felt the energy flowing through her.

Draco bought the wand, and then lead her to Flourish and Blotts to get her textbooks for the fifth year. The textbooks were called The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 5) by Miranda Goshawk and Defensive Magical Theory by Wilbert Slinkhard.

Then they walked their way to Potage's Cauldron Shop to buy Bella's cauldron. When walked into the store, she was looking for the Pewter Cauldron for classes. Draco grabbed it off the shelf, and bought it for Bella. Smiling Bella took it from him, and pecked his cheek.

After getting all her school supplies, Bella and Draco apparated back to Hogwarts. When they got back it was already late, and dinner was about to start. Bella was strolling behind Draco, who was walking over to Professor McGonagall.

The moment they reached her, she lead them to a room behind the staff. Bella was terrified, and knew that the amount of people that stared at her would alarm her. Draco gently strokes Bella's hand as to reassure her that everything would be alright.

A little elf came running into the room with a distorted hat, and gave it to Professor Mcgonagall. Bella stared at the ragged hat for awhile, and then let out a little shriek when the hat's rim opened, and it started to talk to her. She clung on to Draco's arm for support as the hat started to sing a terrible song. (I will skip the lyrics, since you all must know that terrible song the hat sings in the 1st Harry Potter movie.)

Bella slightly loosened her grip on Draco's arm seeing the red marks that were left from the squeezing his arm. Bella stumbled forward, and slowly touched the ragged old hat. This was the only way that could quite understand that a physical touch of something dreary would be. Bella slowly  felt the magical energy from the hit grow stronger than the negative magical energy.
