Scott walked through the dark forest alongside the bank of a small lake. He fiddled with his sword sheath every now and again, taking deep breaths. This is going to be easy, he kept telling himself, sweat starting to form on his forehead. He really didn't want to mess up. Especially since messing up meant he'd probably be killed on the spot.

Scott closed his eyes, going through the plan one last time. Okay, people were going into the forest and disappearing. And he could possibly be killed as well and have his body never be found like everyone else. So, Scott, who was really the last knight in the village, would just find whatever's killing them and try to kill them as fast as possible. Scott nodded to himself. Seemed easy enough.

He stopped in the middle of the forest when he heard a quiet voice. He put his hand on his sheath shakily and stepped back. "H-hello?" he called, scanning the area. He started to slowly unsheathe his sword, the metal clanging together loudly. He swallowed and let go, hoping he was just hearing things.

He continued to walk on, still feeling shaky and sick. Maybe this was a bad idea? He quickly shook his head. Of course not. He was helping his village by doing this, he was going to come home a hero. Smiling, he started to walk with a skip in his step, though he knew he shouldn't be making that much noise. He slowed down when he reached a part of lake where the bank turned into a wall of rocks and pebbles.

Scott jumped when he heard a splash and felt something grab onto his foot. "Hey!" he squeaked when it pulled him back, making him fall onto his stomach. He writhed and kicked, thinking he'd be stabbed or burned or bitten and then poisoned. He whimpered when the thing flipped him onto his back, squeezing his eyes shut. He could hear his heart beating in his chest, when he heard a low chuckle and felt fingers grab his chin.

"Oh, you're so much cuter than all the others." Scott slowly opened his eyes to see a dark skinned man in front of him, a large, purple, fish-like tail behind him.

The brunet ignored his comment, baffled at the sight of the creature in front of him. "I- we- You've been killing all the knights we've been sending?" he stumbled, trying to grab his sword. A mermaid has been killing our people?

Scott flinched when the merman lifted up his sword that he somehow grabbed when Scott wasn't paying attention, carefully running his fingers over the edge. "Mhm," he replied simply, throwing the sword into the lake behind him. "But you're so cute I think I might keep you." He tugged Scott closer by the feet, starting to pull off the helmet, making Scott's brown hair flop in front of his eyes.

The knight's face turned a dark red when Vincent ran his fingers down his covered chest. "I, y-you- Hey!" Scott tried to pull away when the merman's hands started to move a bit too low.

Chuckling, the dark skinned merman moved closer, his lips pressing against Scott's neck. "So, what's your name?" he purred, slowly starting to take off Scott's chest plate.

Scott breathed heavily, thinking the merman would rip his throat out if he tried to move. So he stayed where he was, straddling the other's tail ever so slightly. "S-S-Scott?" he murmured, his eyes starting to melt shut. He had to admit this did feel really good. A numb feeling started to sink its way into Scott's skin, making him feel as if he were unable to move.

The merman smirked against his neck and steadily licked up to his ear. "You don't sound too sure babe," he purred into his ear.

Scott flinched when the armor on his legs was gradually pulled off. He nodded his head as much as he could, "M-my name is Scott."
