He came with me to the appointment. Both of us distraught from what was about to happen.

"If you don't want to see me after, I understand."

"I just. I wish this wasn't your decision. But I respect it and I'll be here the entire time."

Colton kissed my forehead before I went back into the doctor's office.

"Wait. Will you come in with me?"

He didn't want to. I could tell he didn't.
