Maya crawled through the vents, trying not to freak out too much. She was right behind her, pawing her way towards her like she was alive.
I have to get out of here.
She grabbed her ankle, and she screamed. She kicked out, feeling herself collide with something. She pulled her ankle away and pulled her way out of the vents. She looked around, spotting the parts and services room. She tried to run in, but someone was already there.
It was her plan.
The animatronic she was running from had led her right to her. The girl in the doorway smiled, but didn't say anything. Maya was suddenly, pounced on. She turned around, somehow, to see her attacker. It wasn't the animatronic in the vents, but it did look like a mess. It had a hook on one hand, somehow intact despite the look of the rest. It lifted its hook, and swung down towards Maya's face.
Maya looked up at Taylor, who was sitting across from her at the table.
"Look, you're obviously pissed at me, but I'm here to help you, okay?" She said. Taylor giggled.
"You've got one thing right, I hate you. The rest? Hmm, not so much." Taylor said, smiling, "how am I supposed to believe you aren't here to kill me?"
"I'm not going to hurt you, Taylor. I'm here to put you back on the streets." Maya said. She was British, and had brown hair and blue eyes. She wore a pastel pink jumper, and black leggings. Her hair was tied up with a red hair bobble, and was accompanied by a pair of, rather informal, red sneakers.
"Okay, Miss Harper. What do you want me to do?" Taylor added an eye roll.
"Its Harpaker. And I want you to tell me exactly what happened at Circus Baby's." Maya answered, "and don't roll your eyes at me."
Taylor rolled her eyes.
"I went down, with a plan. Mike messed up. It got flooded. I shot everyone." She said, playing with a lock of hair, "well, almost everyone. Max got crushed. It was violent. And pathetic."
Maya stared for a few seconds, "um... Anything else?"
"You can go down there if you want to see." Taylor said, "then will you believe me?"
"Right, right. I'll go down." Maya said. "Do you have directions."
Maya expected Taylor to tell her to find it herself, but surprisingly, she gave her the exact direction. She stood in front of the elevator, then went down, silent. Taylor had stayed at the asylum.
Maya walked away from the elevator and put a hand over her mouth in shock. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. It was filled with water, and it was red. It had been mixed with blood. She reached down into the water, and took hold of the first thing she saw.
She picked him up. Out of all the bodies, she picked the shortest one. She held him by the ears and shook him around. He was limp, sort of like a rag doll. His eyes were closed. He looked like he was sleeping, but Maya knew the truth.
He had blond hair, was wearing a yellow shirt, stained with his own blood, and black jeans. He was short, around 5 foot. He looked around ten age of thirteen, although it was impossible just to guess. He had yellow ears, but Maya had expected that.
He was just a child.
She didn't know his name. All she did was put him down, somewhere dry. She turned and left to the elevator, wanting to get out of that flooded room. It had an aura in it, like something was watching her. Maya knew it was ridiculous, but it felt like the room was alive. She shook her head.
Maya left back up the elevator. Maya was right, something in that room was still alive. She had lifted him up somewhere. It was easier to escape.
He smiled.
A/N
Welcome to Save Them. And only one person in this series gets grabbed by the ears. He's even being shaken around when he's dead.
Well... Supposedly dead. But anyway, who do you think it is? And what do you guys think of Maya?
And I know, I said at the end of You Can't that Save Them was gonna be the prequel, but I changed my mind. And yes, this will be a mini crossover with Creepypasta, eventually.
So yeah? You guys excited? Because this is gonna turn into my favourite book of the series.
Also *high fives Maya* BRITAIN UNITE.
Okay, I'm done. See ya guys!
