It was a long walk home from the shops, but my brother wanted milk and how could I say no.
My shoes were starting to give me blisters when I heard sirens heading towards my street.
I picked up my pace looking around at all the police cars.
Why were they outside my house I wondered starting to freak out in my mind.
As I neared the house I saw my brother holding his phone for emergences in his right hand and his face in his left.
I ran over but was stopped by a big muscular man wearing a police uniform
"wooooooh there sweetie what do you think your doing" he asked me
"well I think you should be the one telling me this is my house and that is my brother mark" I said a little annoyed.
"Oh" he said, suddenly looking at the ground.
he had a tone in his voice, that tone you get when you know something is very wrong.
"well can you please tell me" I said getting more inpatient.
" I'm sorry, your mother has been murdered" he said still looking at the ground
Nooooo I screamed inside my head now what am I going to do where do we go.
Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted. "Miss I think you should go sit down"
the man said carefully leading me to wear my brother sat.
"Mark" I paused,
" I think it would be a good idea if you went to stay with Isaac for a bit"
"what about you?" He asked tears welling up in his eyes starting to over flow.
"Don't worry I will figure something out" I said trying not to cry too.
After Isaacs mum came to pick him up she left me her wishes and twenty dollars for food I told her I had a friends to stay at, I lied it's just I hate taking from people.
I have no friends so I sat in the corner of my favourite restaurants a home made pizza place near the center of town.
I haven't been here since my dad died but they were the only thing I had.
