The Great Abduction

The Beginning

Ever since I was a little kid all I ever wanted to do was learn. I grew up in a small town called Bonnew and a planet called Arbetatian. My name is Aurora; I am a scientist and according to Arbetatian records I am the youngest scientist and the most productive as well. If you were wondering I'm only 19. I have midnight black hair and electric blue eyes.

Its amazing how just one person can achieve so much in just a short while. Some might even say Im lucky because I had survived The Great Abduction. And as of right now all of Bonnew is stuck in an underground cave. How all this happened? Well I'll tell you.

All around were lights, so many bright lights. The screams of young women and children filled my ears. At the age of 14, I had no idea what was going on outside of my house or my room even!

Curious, I got out from under my covers and peeked out the window. I couldn't take my eyes off of it, that creature, that beautiful creature. It was tall, probably around 6 feet and its luminous glow just stunned me. The glow was from within. the creatures body and you could see the different colored organs. Ranging from deep reds to vibrate yellows. But then again that's what I thought they were.

As I looked closer, I saw ships in the distance; along with the women, then the other children. All of them were being dragged by these things and into the ships. At the time I didn't understand why they were doing this, so I decided to check.

I turned to my wooden door and started for it. I stepped over books and gadgets, to that sole door at the opposite side of my small room. As I walked out, I found some of the strange lights getting farther away.

So I followed the glows and eventually found one in my living room. It scanned the room for anything with life. With its back turned I called to it.

"H-hello?" I asked.

When it turned around I gasped. Its face was glowing like the rest of its insides, but its eyes were like cracked crystal and were light purple. It only had two small punchers where the nose should be and its lips were as clear as glass.

It took a step towards me, but only to have me take a step back. For a second it looked confused but took another step anyway. I tried to step back but I fell over a gadget I was building.
