A palace with chandeliers in every room and jewels in tins. Silver framed the artwork, quiet rooms and place of escape. A mansion and empty. The staircase and floor didn't even creek, it's like she wasn't even there herself. Somewhere so beautiful and so lifeless was her home and salvation, and her love for it was as strong as the hate she felt for it. Which confused her. She told herself she liked being alone, but she didn't like when nobody was here with her.She was emotionless, almost.
She felt behind her time, yet her surroundings may be far beyond. So modern and fresh, smelt clean, felt clean, but needed life that it lacked.
She felt behind her time, her friends going out to parties and kissing boys. She remembered kissing boys, but the memories are fading. The lack of her presence is the only thing that her friends believe has changed about her, because she's the same when they meet up and see each other at school. She even believes it herself, she's that glad. She loves her friends.
She felt behind her time, so much so that she was going backwards. She was beautiful, so gorgeous you wouldn't believe, but so strange. Therefore intriguing and every boy wanted her in ways that boys want girls. She had friends that are boys, but they picture her naked.
Ammy's friends are very popular and they are very nice to her, she's less popular than them despite her house. They encourage parties and sleepovers, but she has to ask permission, and her mum's never around.
She sat at the top of the stairs that twirled down to the ground level. There was a second story, which her rooms and bathroom was on and then there was the top of the house, where you could stand on the rooftop, sipping on your drinks and watching birds fly over your head as you sunbathed in the deck chairs.
She counted the steps, then the doorbell rang.
It was an indescribable feeling, she didn't know who it was, she was so glad, she thought it could be her mother.
She slid down the stairs on her bum until she slipped off onto the tiles and reached the front door. She grasped the handle and pulled in back a bit, opening it and seeing her friends. She opened it fully and the smile on her face was priceless.
"Ammy!" Eva said grabbing her around the waist, but quickly pulled back. "You're sickness isn't contagious is it?" She raised her eyebrows, walking through the front door. Ammy laughed.
"No." She shook her head.
Amanda and Terry kissed her cheek and gave her some chocolate before they all rushed off to her bedroom.
"You've been away for like the whole week," Terry said with wide eyes, they thought they'd come over so she'd come to school.
Amanda brought it up, they weren't letting their best friend stay home all week.
"Come to school tomorrow, yeah!? You don't look that sick." She smirked.
"Judging by your rosy cheeks and smile!" Eva piped up.
"And the way you're scoffing that chocolate down." Terry said, smirking. They all laughed.

This fucking girl was still on his mind.
He knelt in the snow, half way up his thighs by now as he tackled his dog into it, surely she'd be cold but she loved the snow, weird dogs and their weird habits, Harry thought to himself.
He laughed as Clover licked his face, tripping and falling in the snow, Harry was absolutely freezing and wet but he didn't mind because he needed something to take his mind of this girl he saw. She was pretty but this was abnormal. He tumbled over again, Clover's cream fur in his mouth, every time he thought of her you could say he was a bit distracted.
Her dark hair and full lips, cute little cheeks and her skin looked so soft, she wore golden and simple ring earrings and she had no fear or maybe she didn't know what fear was or maybe she was so overcome with fear that she didn't care walking up to complete strangers, she smelt of sleep and Chanel, she looked like sleep and Chanel, she hadn't a name but she had a gorgeous face-Harry's face went straight in the snow. Clover was a good distraction.
His face was numb and it was almost as if Clover was mocking him, she ran inside the front door panting. She looked like she was smiling at him.
"Cheeky dog." He stumbled and struggled through the snow, shaking the snow from his hair
Soda was dry and warm inside like a normal dog, he just sat and watched. Probably confused.
"Soda, here boy!" Harry said patting his legs, but he wasn't having any of it. "Guess I should shower then," he chuckled to himself.
The water was hot on his skin and it burned, he sat at the bottom of the shower and leant his head against the glass, just thinking, about her.
"What a weirdo." Harry muttered, he didn't specifically know who he was talking about. Himself or that girl.

Ammy was still smiling a tiny smile as she showered. The day was over with her friends and they wanted her to come and see them at school, everything kind of blanked out of her mind and she was already thinking ahead.
She just forgot most things.
Even her towel on the way into the bathroom, so she had to run and get one from the linen closet without slipping.
She made it to her room and slid on her satin night dress for tonight. And set out her school uniform for tomorrow.
When she's with her friends she is a different person, but she wondered which one was her true self? Both situations felt so real.
ha haha ha
