Jess~
My freshmen year and sophomore year was something truly out of a movie.. I made varsity in basketball and volleyball I had strait A's great friends and a great family.
I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I hadn't said anything where.. would life have gone.*flash back*
I was 17 when the accident happened
It was a beautiful summer day a nice day for a drive. My father and I sitting in the front seat. I looked at my reflection in the mirror my brown curly hair covered my face.
My brown eyes met another girls in the car next to us. She was so beautiful but it looked like her and her boyfriend were arguing. "Jess?" My dad called me out of my daze.
"Yeah in sorry I'm just really tired." I yawned.
He nodded and continued to drive to a small town called canyon it was pretty nice but most of Texas is.
We were listening to radio when all of the sudden this brown truck was going the wrong way. My dad swerved the car.
The car began to roll.* End of flash back*
A month after the accident school started.. I hadn't spoken a word since the accident. My family tried everything shrinks hospitals meds. what they didn't understand is I didn't want to talk. I watched my dad die in front of me and I still blamed myself ..I could have helped him I could have saved him if I had more time. The first day of school came around that morning I curled my hair and did my make up grabbed my bag and drove to school. This was my first time in a car since the accident. I went to my first period everyone's voices were so loud I felt like they were screaming. The teacher came in Mr.Howard Ap English. "Good morning class well come back from summer I hope you're ready to get back to work ." Mr.Howard said smiling with enthusiasm.
I put my head phones on and started to read the chapters that were assigned to us. Romeo and Juliet a classic tale of two dumb teens that fell in love who's lives were cutt short.
As the day went by, So many people stared at me in the halls groups talking till I walked by then they went silent and stared. I screamed in side my head because I couldn't yell at them no matter how much I wanted to.
Next thing I knew *thud* I ran into someone hard knocking me on my ass ,that girl I saw in the car that day. she dropped her books Me being me I decided to help her and so we picked up her books and she smiled at me thanking me . All I could do was smile and nod. (Why am I so damn awkward ) she was stunning her light brown long hair those hazel eyes and that smile ... Made me forget where I was . I walked away smiling like an idiot. "Annie" I turned to see a tall blonde running to the girl .
"Annie" I thought.I couldn't get that girl out of my head all day not matter how hard I tried.
When the day was over I walked by the gym volley ball try outs were all week . coach Kate must have seen me and ran out and hugged me. "I'm so sorry jess I heard what happened ."
she sounded like she was about to cry. Tears filled my eyed. "If you ever need anything I'm here ." she smiled at me. I nod and she walks back into the gym. Later on While Walking to the car I noticed I crowd Annie and some girl were fighting. I ran to them . The unknown girl hit Annie. I lost it I ran in the middle and helped Annie up . "Move mute before I put you out like your daddy." She laughed .
I stood up dodging a kick and punched her in the nose she fell back on the ground and cried. Everyone stared at me like a freak except Annie . I grabbed Annie's hand and took her away from the crowd. She was fighting me , until we reached the car . I sat down watching her watching her waiting for her to say something. "You didn't have to do that." She finally spoke up. I shrugged she looked up at me and smiled. "You really don't talk do you." She tilted her head. I shook my head . she sat down next to me , "Thank you everyone else wanted to watch me get my ass beat but you helped me why?" She asked looking at me.
I blushed and looked at her .
She smiled "I kinda like you too its okay."
She smiled.
God why is this girl in my head . she's perfect in every way and then there's me ...
