Past Life

Everyone went quiet after I said that. Nanami had her hands over her mouth with tears forming in her eyes. Otoya, Natsuki, Syo, Masato, Tokiya, and Ren all had their eyes open in surprise. I looked at them as I felt tears run down my cheek.

I ran back to my room and started crying. My roommate was with her friends, plus I don't really want her to worry about me right now. After a few minutes of silence (other than me crying), I heard a knock on my door and went to open it. When opened, I saw that it was Nanami. She looked like she was crying.

"I'm sorry about your mom. I didn't know that she passed away. You didn't have to tell us that story if you didn't want to." Nanami said.

I wiped away the tears in my eyes and said, "It's okay. I actually wanted to tell you guys. I basically told you when I said I haven't played the piano since her funeral."

"Yeah, but still, you didn't have to tell us."

Nanami, you don't understand, you just don't understand.

*A few hours later after talking with Nanami*

Nanami and I walked to the cafeteria and saw everyone sitting at a table, with a person I haven't met yet.

"Cecil-san when did you get here?" Nanami asked the strange male. "(Y/n) this is Cecil Aijima, Cecil this is (Y/n)."

"N-nice to meet you," I said. Even though I didn't fully recognize him, I felt like I knew him.

"It's nice to finally meet you in person, (Y/n)-chan," Cecil said.

"'Finally meet'?"  Everyone said.

"Yes, we've met before, but I didn't look like what I am right now," Cecil said.

"I don't understand what you are saying. Have we met before?"

"Alright, I'm totally confused," Otoya said with his hands on his head.

"So is everybody else," Syo said.

"(Y/n) do you remember that animal in the window in the pet shop a few months ago?" Cecil asked.

I looked at him confused. "There was a cat there, but not you."

"I know."

I was really confused now. I tried changing the subject after a while of confusion. "About earlier when I told you all about my parents, I'm fine. And I've been fine for the past 5 years."

Nanami looks at me with sad eyes.

Syo and the others (including Cecil) looked at me a little surprised. As if they were hoping that I would start talking about something else. I said, "I have to go somewhere, see you all later."

*At the cemetery*

I had brought a bouquet of red roses to a certain spot in the cemetery and place the flowers on the ground.

"H-hey, mom. How are you doing up in heaven? I'm doing good, I met 8 friendly people today, they are really nice. I wish you could meet them. You'd like them. How is dad doing? I hope he is doing okay." It was starting to get dark and you keep talking to your mother's grave. "Well, I got to go. It's starting to get dark. Um, bye. Love you lots." I managed to say while holding back tears.

*Back at Saotome Academy*

As I walked into the main lobby and started walking to my room.

As I was walking, I had noticed a boy with red hair walking my way.  Uh oh, I was caught coming back!

"(Y/N)! Where have you been? We were worried about you." Otoya said.

"Sorry if I worried everyone," I said.

"Its ok but where have you been? We were waiting for you in the main lobby but you never came back."

"I-I-I was talking to my mom and dad. Even though they are gone now, I still need to talk to them. I need them with me when I get upset. I need them for the rest of my life. And even though it was basically my fault that they are dead, I need them here with me now!" I said while trying not to cry.

I then felt strong arms come around my body, and I started blushing. I've never hugged or have been hugged by a male before.
