Previously on the last episode of "Loved by a Lycan and Vampire": I pressed my palm against her forehead, placing a royal mark of ownership. "You will be my feeder," I said. Even the farthest person away from me could hear. "Yes," she simply replied. "Yes what?" I questioned. "Yes master," she bowed her head letting her side bangs fall in her face.

Chapter 2
Anastasia's P.O.V
It was every girls dream to be invited to the palace, even if that meant becoming a feeder. You'd have a one in a million chance just to drive by it. When my mother told me that I was invited to go to the palace, I gladly accepted.
When I got the rules and regulations, it said, " Congratulations! You and 200 other people were selected to become feeders for the royal palace!" That's when my whole mood went downhill.
I must be lucky because the king himself, picked me to be his feeder. He has brownish grayish hair with brown eyes that has a grey outline. He seems nice on the surface, but I can tell that he has a bad side hidden somewhere deep down inside him.
The one thing that I am confused about is why didn't he pick Gilda? From what I've heard, she has sugary-sweet blood. Yet, he passed right by her. After the "Choosing Ceremony" we were all assigned a room. Mine was next to King Markcus. It is said that feeders and vampires have to be close, in case of emergency.
I unpacked all of my clothes and simply decided to write a letter to my mother.
Dear Mother,
Things are going good, even though it's still the first day. I was picked to be King Markcus's feeder. Yet, Gilda has sweeter blood than I do. Weird... It's almost dinnertime. I should be going.
Love You Always And Forever,
Anastasia
I folded the letter and shoved it in an envelope. Sealing it, I put my mothers address on it and put it on the bedside table. Fumbling around for some clothes, I put on a pink cashmere sweater dress and a pair of white flats. I pulled my hair into a French Braid and put my favorite bracelets on. One was from my grandma.
She passed away and left this in her will for me. The bracelet is an aqua color and has little symbols on them. They are in ancient text, a language my grandma spoke. She once told me that it meant protection. The other one is from my older brother. As soon as he heard he good news, he got me a good luck charm. He put several charms on there already.
One is a little silver football. It represents when he taught me how to play football. I can now officially tackle him. Another one is a picture of Momma and I making apple pie. I had flour on my cheek and momma had an egg smashed on her head. Both of us grinning like idiots. I was adjusting the bracelets when a knock sounded at the door.
I pulled the door open to peek in a little crack. Waiting in a black tuxedo, was King Markcus. I grabbed my matching pink clutch purse and pulled the door open. Stepping outside, I locked the door behind myself.
"Good evening, King Markcus," I said robotically. I alerted my eyes to the carpet beneath us. "Good evening, Miss Bloom. And may I say, you look lovely this evening," he greeted me with a warm smile. "And so do you, sir," I looked up slightly. "Please call me Markcus," he held out his hand for me to shake.
"Anastasia," I replied still a little nervous. "Shall we attend the royal court dinner?" he said holding out his arm. "We shall," I laced my arm through his and we walked toward the royal dinning hall.
