Broken

Chapter one

    Bella was a sweet 14 year old girl, she was soft and emotional but stiff on the outside. Much like a egg, with a hard protective shell but a gooey soft inside. You crack or drop the egg and the inside is exposed.
    Benjamin was one of bellas best internet friends, he was 15 at the time  She had known him for multiple years and had video chatted  him whenever possible. Benjamin was tall and handsome with dark hair and a slightly chubby face. Bella thought he was cute. Even in a feiend way.
      Bella and Benjamin got to know eachother pretty well from talking all day everyday for 5 years. They became close and told eachother every little secret possible. They would even stay up past curfew to talk.
      One day bella found out she was traveling to California in that summer, where Benjamin lives. She told him and they planned to meet up for some coffee or something one of the days they were together. Bella and benjamin wanted to go ro the theater aswell to see a movie benjamin had told her about.
     A few months after benjamin had been told about bella visiting he disapeared off line and bella started to worry.
      It had been a month or so but by that time she figured he could have broken his phone or gone on a trip... but where would he have gone without saying goodbye firts?
It wasnt a usual thing for benjamin to dusapear like that but she got used to him being gone. Benjamin was gone from August to january. Bella thought about him alot when he was gone. Benjamin thought about her too.
     On january 5th bellas phone went off in class and she slammed it into her lap to quiet it down. Her math teacher clide looked at her. She slipped the phone into her poket thinking it was her boyfriend toby. After class she grabbed her text  book and pencil case ran and set it in her locker, before opening her phone. When she looked it said benjamins contact name on her screen and her face went blank. She quickly replied asking where  he had been. He claimed he had gotten  his phone taken away to get ready for school. She didn't  mind she was glad he was back.
      They talked for a few days getting slightly flirty but bella held back because she was in love with her boyfriend, toby. Toby and bella met in middle school they had been bestfriends since day on and then fell in love. Toby was her forst love, and wanted him to be hwr last.
   On January 6th bella was taking the bus home from school, while benjamin was texting her. He told her she  was beautiful and she felt her heart skip a beat. It was weird and she had never felt that way for anyone but toby before. After that awkward moment of disbelief bellas heart started beating faster and her cheeks pinked up and she felt something. She was worried at first worried toby would get mad. But then she was worried if she had only felt thatw ay for toby maybe just maybe he wasnt the only one for her, But bella kept speaking to him for the whole bus ride. She had gone to bed that night after talking to benjamin all day and had a dream about him. She had dreamed she kissed him and they sat at the theater watching  a movie. She woke up wondering what it meant, wondering if that actually just happend being ecen more worried about toby. Though  Everyrime she thought about benjamin that day her heart would beat faster.
She tgought she might had developed feelings for him bit she was worried because she still loved toby.
