Hiding, crying, darkness. That's all there was. Nothing but darkness, and the sounds of her crying, and begging. He liked when they begged for their lives, when they said anything to live. they didn't mean i thiugh, they didn't mean it when they said they loved him. He coould feel her already. her body, her hair, the beautiful blonde locks falling around her shoulders that were now streaked with dirt and mud, and the dirt over her face. He slowly unlocked the door, the smallest, tinyist click in the dark stairway. Her crying stopped, all sound stopped. Time stopped, as he made his way down slowly, the only sound being the drip...drip...drip of the blood ff the knife in his hand.
"Please," she begged and her crying started again, only this time she started screaming, yelling for no one, and yet everyone. Everyone could see her, but no one could hear her. No one would come to save her, no one would know that he was here. "Please, she begged. "Why are you doing this?" She hiccupped between sobs. He knelt knocked to her, waving th knife through her hair, moving it from her face. "Because, your so beautiful..." He kissed her head lightly running the knife over her throat holding her against the dark wall. He could feel her eyes searcging his face, but she would only come up empty. "But you ruined yourself." he stood up grabbing her hair with his free hand. He growled, a harsh, angry sound that had her screaming out in fear. "You let them touch you!" He screached as rage boilded in his blood. "You bad girl! You ruined yourself, letting them touch you! You bad girl..." He ended in a whisper, then moved the knife over her throat so swifty she could have moved if she'd tried.
Her eyes tried to stare up at him as her body fell to the ground. But the darkness was so think, so there......He heard their yells, to listen for something they wouldn't hear. For something no one would hear...No one expect him. He would hear her. He would hear her forever in his head, because he killed her, he would hear her screams in his head forever.
He turned back to the staires and made his way up to his room, dark walls covered with their faces. The faces of those bad, bad girls...Bad girls that let bad men touch them. He stared at theit faces, and he hand flew up, sticking the dagger in her face, her dead, unseeing face that would never been seen again. "Forgive me," he whispered caressing his fingers over her face, missing her beauty already. "You ruined yourself...You let bad men touch you." Heis eyes moved over to the next girl, the next bad girl that needed to be punished. Punished for being a bad...bad girl.
Dealer's POV
My name is Dealer Marcus. Great name, I know. But right now, I dont have time to go into that. Right now, I have a young blonde dead woman in front of me, and it's not a pretty sight. I sighed, putting out my cigaratte. This was the fifth victim this month. We have no major leads, only a handful of suspects, and nothing to go on. And I was the lucky SOB that got to find his victims.
"Anything new?" my partner, and long time best friend, Jack Wolfe said coming up to me. I shook my head stuffing my hands in my pockets. "Dammit. This guy has been at it for alomst a month and we dont even have so much as a print." He ran his hands through his hair. "How much longer can this guy go without making a mistake?"
"It depends." I took my eyes off the body long enough to look up at him. "Normal killers have a pattern they like to follow, unless something makes them so angry they snap. We dont know how to make him snap yet." Or what caused him to start this, I thought. We needed to find this guy fast so I can get some sleep at night. But that's not likely to happen any time soon, and not because of this mad man, but because of the sexy spicy redhead across the hall. Her cute jeans, and hair that looks like fire. Dammit, I have to fight getting hard from just thinking about her. I patted Jack on the back. "Well, good luck. I need to head back to your sister's apartment." Yeah, Stacy was my partners sister, and neither of us had a good idea about me being the cop to live with her for protection. In fact, Jack almost took my head off when we both found out.
"Just call me when you ge there," Jack said kneeling next to the blonde body. I nodded walking back to my car. Stacy will love this. She'd have it on the news by this after noon. Oh yeah, Stacy is the town's top reporter. She has her eyes set on the case, while I have my eyes set on her ass. My life cannot get any more complicated.
