META HUMAN

Discovery

Not every Meta gets there powers when there born some Meta's powers come in later in there teen years. That's what happened with me I was a normal boy with black hair, green eyes and tan skin but that all changed when my hair turn Snow White my eyes turned into a glowing white and my skin a pale white. I could also shoot ice out of my hands and freeze anything I touch.
That was the day me and my family had to move so the government wouldn't find me. Me and my family have been living in a town in Utah called Salt Lake City for about a month now.

"Hey Jack its time to get up" I open my eyes and see my brother standing in the doorway he was also a meta but he didn't show as much his powers made him able to make a purple neon blade of energy that came out of his hand he could do other thing like make a whip and run super fast with a light color behind him he was also really strong but so was I that was like the only thing that meta's have in common strength. I could also do the same blade thing but with ice.
"give me five more minutes"
"no mom wants you up now"
"ok let me get dressed and I'll come down stairs" Grayson shut the door.

I put on a blue shirt, black skinny jeans and a black leather jacket I opened the door and walk down stairs I walk into the kitchen and see my parents siting at the table with my brother and sister my sister was also a meta she could control fire. my parents were the only normal people in are family I kinda felt bad for my mom and dad they had to deal with three meta-humans in the family I especially felt bad for them because me and my siblings don't know how to control are powers one time I tried to shoot an ice sickle out of my hand and I froze my whole wall and it was cold for a whole week my sister offered to unthaw the house but my mom said no I don't blame her to. I took a seat at the table my mom put a plate of bacon eggs and hash browns in front of me I began to stuff my face with food
"ok kids" my mom said
  "this is going to be your first day at the new school cottonwood and I want you all to look after each other and I want no accidents do you understand me?"
"Yes" my brother and sister said
"yes" I say
"ok I'll take you guys to school today"
I walk back to my room and grab my backpack and phone. I walk back down stairs and sit in the front room and turn on the TV and watch some cartoons.
Me and my sister sit on the couch until it was 7:45 "time to go you guys" my mom says my sister gets up and slaps me on the knee
"let's go loser" she says with a smile on her face
"I'll freeze you"
"and I'll burn you it's a vicious cycle" I get up off the couch grab my bag. We all walk outside and head to the car. We get in the car and we head off.

It takes a few minutes to get to school
"here we are" my mom says I get out of the car with my brother and sister we head to the front doors of the school
"so we have to go to the office first to get are schedules" my sister says we walk inside and all the teens stair at us and I kinda understand why we had an unnatural beauty to us my brother had neon colored purple black hair with muscled body like a football player which he was his eyes were a reddish purple colored and my sister she was tall skinny with fire red hair her eyes were a brown red color and me my hair was a Snow White color my eyes were a light grey color I was a little built but not like my brother but close enough. We walked to the office and went in the room the lady at the front desk
"how can I help you?" the lady said while pushing her grey hair out of her face
"we need are schedules" my sister says
"what's your names?"
"This is Jack ,Ray and I'm Grayson Holland" my brother says
"ok you're mom filled out your paperwork earlier so here's your schedules" she opened a drawer in her desk and pulled out three papers "here you go" she handed the papers to my brother
"thank you" we left the office my brother handed me my schedule
"I have Spanish for my first period" I say "chemistry" my sister says
"same here" my brothers says
"well see you guys later" I walked away.
I walked down the hallway until I reach the room 206 I walk in and took the first Seat I saw see in the back.

"And who are you" a teen boy with sun kiss blonde hair wearing a letterman jacket his body was just as built as my brothers
"my name it jack"
"well cutie my name is lance" his voice was real deep
"and why would you say that how do you know I'm gay?"
"I don't I just like to flirting with people I think are cute"
"ok then" I turned away the kid took the seat next to me a few minutes later the first bell rang and four kids that knew lance sat next to him and a whole bunch of other kids came in and took all the other seats. The second bell rang and the teacher walked in he was a tall slender man with brown hair
"how was your weekend?" Some kids answered and the kids that sat next to me just kept talking to each other
"and it looks like we have a new student" the teacher said
"jack would you like to stand up and introduce yourself?" I stood up
"I'm jack and I'm 16 years old and yea" the guy next to me made a whistle sound
"so whats up with your hair how did you get it that white"
"I bleach it alot" that's what my mom always tells me to tell people if they asked about my hair. I sat back down an hour went by full of lance flirting with me his friends laughing everytime I ignored him the bell rang to go to are next class and I had gym I walk to the second building and notice on my way that there was a pool in the next room I walk into the pool area and sat next to it. The pool reminded me of when I swam for my team at my old school before my abilities came in and every time the water touched my skin it looked like dry ice in water white mist came off my skin I sat next to the pool and stuck my finger in the water and a small patch of ice froze outward over the water.
I pulled my finger out of the water before It got to big I grabbed the ice floating on the water and it sat in my hand not melting because of my cold skin I lifted up my hand concentrated and a white mist started coming off the palm of my hand and an icicle formed in my hand. I dropped the ice in the water and i watched it melt in the pool
"i knew it!" I froze and turned my head slowly. There was lance staring at me
"come with me" he started walking away.

He walked out and I followed lance for a little bit until we reached a field lance stopped in the middle of the field and he just stared at me
"are you going to turn me in?" I say
"No why would I turn in a fellow meta-human"
"Wait your a meta?"
"Yes I am"
"Prove it" I say suspiciously he turns away
"you might want to cover your ears" lance says to me with a smile on his face I put both hands over my ears he opened his mouth and a loud scream came out but this was no ordinary scream it pierced through my hands. I could fell the scream shaking the earth I could see the earth cracking it reminded me of the superhero in DC comics named black canary and how her scream could destroy anything.
I fell to the ground
"stop!" I said loudly but feared he couldn't hear. He stopped screaming
"you ok?"
"what?!!" I couldn't even hear a thing after his scream  a few minutes of me and lance sitting there in silence until my hearing came back "you ok?" Lance said
"yea I'm fine I just can't really hear"
"so let me see your powers"
"I don't know"
"oh come on I showed you mine now show me yours"
" fine" I stood up raised my hand and white mist started coming off my hand I pointed my hand at the ground and liquid ice shot from my hand and hit the ground and froze the ground i stopped and so did the mist coming off my hand. I turned around and saw lances mouth open
"how did you like that?"
"Yea it was great!" lance stepped forward and pressed his body against mine I could feel his warmth going into my cold body
"why are you so close" I ask my body trembling
"do you not like me this close"
"I do" I look into lance's eyes
"do you know that your eyes glow?"
"Yea they glow when I use my powers"
"well there beautiful"
"thanks" a small smile formed on my face
"so would you like me to kiss you?" When Lance said that my body started to heat up
"yes" I placed my lips on his the kiss was Electric my body warmed up Lance placed his hand on my back to pull me closer.
