Mallory and her Mom walked through the LAX airport in search for her gate, that would board in less than 20 minutes. Already she is having some negative thoughts. She doesn't want to get hurt again. However, she feels that she's avoided love long enough and she's ready to see what Temptation Island has in store for her.
Once she finds her gate, she turns to her Mom having a few minutes to say their goodbyes. No words are said. She pulls her mom into a hug not wanting to let her go. She's started to tear up and that was when she knew it was time to go. She had promised her mom that she wasn't going to cry. Her family doesn't break their promises. She broke away from her mom. "I love you" she said putting on a fake smile, just as a woman's voice spoke through the intercom. "Flight to St. Martin is now boarding." "I love you too, sweetie. Have a safe flight." her mom replied, pecking her daughter's cheek quickly.
Mallory grabbed the handle of her suitcase and walked over to the door of her gate handing the woman her boarding pass and walking down the short corridor until she reached the plane. She felt like she was being eaten alive by anxiety. She had no idea what to expect when she landed in St. Martin, no one informed her about anything. Finding the row she was sitting in, she sat in the seat next to the window, where she stared out of the window collecting her thoughts. She kept reminding herself everything would be fine and it would all work out, although a few negative thoughts still floated around she tried her best to push them away.
Within 10 minutes the entrance of the plane was shut and locked. Mallory, didn't take notice that not only was the plane not even near close to being full, but no one was seated next to her, which wasn't a problem with Mallory. "Thank you for choosing United Airlines. Please fasten your seat belts, the flight for St. Martin will now be taking off. We hope you enjoy your flight." The flight attendants voice sounded over the intercom. Mallory did as told, clicking the belt around her lower torso and sitting back in her seat, as she watched the planes shadow as it began to move down the runway and slowly begin to inch off the ground.
Mallory has a 17-hour flight ahead of her and decided to get a little shut-eye, before the big meet n greet with the 20 guys, who are unknown to Mallory.
All the guys will be arriving in St. Martin an hour, after our Bachelorette allowing her to have time to settle and get ready. At the moment the guys are all now flying into LA, unless they are all already there and then will all board one flight to St. Martin.
Nash, sat scrolling through his phone, checking his social media and interacting with his fans. However, he already had an advantage to this whole competition, he and Mallory had a close past, they were basically best friends before Mal moved to LA for her dream job. The move was tough on both of them considering Mallory always felt that he had feelings for her and there was something more to their friendship. But they still skyped, texted, and talked over the phone, but it'd be the first time in a while that he'd see her in front of him in person and that excited him. Nash had been missing Mal like crazy and he was ecstatic to be apart of this competition and be able to surprise her and possibly win over her heart. Mallory knew her mother had always seen something in Nash and had always thought they'd make a great couple. Maybe, just maybe she might get her wish granted. You never know.
Mallory, by now had just landed in St. Martin. She had a nice, relaxing, and rejuvenating nap. Now that she was actually here and had less than two hours until she'd be meeting twenty different guys, that may possibly be her groom one day made her stomach fill with butterflies and a nauseating feeling. The producers of Temptation Island having told her nothing about what to do when she landed, left her confused. She exited the plane and walked into the airport immediately seeing a man holding a bright pink sign with "Mallory Watson" written across it in big bold letters waiting for her. She walked over letting him know that was her and they went over to baggage claim where he grabbed her things and brought her out to the black limo, opening the door for her and setting her belongings into the trunk.
