"Hina! Where are-" Quentin broke off as he caught me eating all the carrots in the fridge. "Found you." He sighed, but watched with amusement as I started on my eigth carrot.
"Found her!" He called. Ummm.... they had been looking for me for an hour, so yeah... Insert facepalm here. When someone specifically asks for the fridge, they kinda tend to be there.
I'm surrounded by completely idiots aren't I? Well, counting myself of course.
The thunder of footsteps echoed off the walls, and they stumbled on me nibbling on my carrot, grinning. I loved carrots. I hated fish. They were vile little creatures that tasted like asphalt (how I know what asphalt tastes like... Don't ask. All I'm gonna say is that James could be very pursuavive when we were younger...)
Anyways...
"Really?" Jason asked faintly as I started on the last carrot. I grinned, as that was an answer enough.
"Yup!" I swallowed my last bite. Pity that...
"Ummm... Can I get some clothes please? I'm sorry, but I really don't want to live in a uniform for the rest of my life." I asked sheepishly as I stood up and walked casually across the kitchen as possible.
Kinda hard after people had been watching you nom on carrots, but oh well!
"Sure." Adam replied, and I could hear the tremor of a chuckle resounding in his voice. "Since we adopted you, Mitch, Ian, and Jerome are on clothes and electronic duty! Quentin can go shopping for more food. Me, Jason, and Ty are gonna record. Kay? Okay."
I rolled my eyes and smirked as the three who adopted me scrambled up the staircase at the end of the hall, pushing and shoving.
"Lez go! I want Blackrock castle in my room." I randomly shouted as I pranced down the hall to the door, chuckling along to the laughs.
"By the way, Quentin!" Mentioned looked up at me. "I don't like fish or to eat them, kay?" I shouted.
"Then you won't like Quentin as he's a fish." Jerome smirked, as Quentin looked downright murderous.
"IM. NOT. A. FLIPPING. FISH!" He screamed, and everyone held their precious ears for dear life.
"Okay, okay, jeez." Ian moaned as he tried to soothe his ringing ears. Didn't blame him.
"Let's go. Jerome's driving!" Mitch called, as me and him held some sort of unofficial race to the car. After skidding and shoving, Mitch had beat me, but managed to slow down.
Me? Forget it.
I'm proud to say that I body slammed straight into the sleek black minivan.
"Oh god! Are you okay?" Over th ringing in my skull, I saw Jerome lean over me with a worried expression.
I shook my head quickly. "I'm fine!" I popped off the ground, and made the car unlock after pressing some random button, and hopped in shotgun.
"How? You just? Not even a- You know what, never mind." Mitch asked, defeated as he and Ian climbed in the back.
"It's a gift! I've felt much worse during roughhousing with former friends." I revealed with a grin. I watched in wonder as we pulled out of the driveway and cruised down the road, idly chatting with one another. Then they kinda sneaked a Q&A on me. Oh well.
"So what's your favorite color?" Ian asked out of the blue.
"Easy! Black! Or silver. Or red. Or blue. Or liquid green. Or neon colors. Or gray. Or white. Or purple. Purple's safe." I listed as I saw a weird golden double arch thing. What the hell was that? I saw a sign that read McDo- before me sped off. McDo? What the hell?
