"Hello there!" A girl who's skin was tan, it seemed her skin was stained by the red hot sand. Her hair brown like the dried out dirt.

"Juvia says Hello?" She quizzically eyed the girl up and down.
Around them just a white background?
Wait no, a classroom slowly materializes?

Juvia inwardly cries.
Is Juvia dreaming? Juvia must be.... Juvia questions herself.

"Oh look it's Juvia, tsk why can't you just go away!?"
"Yeh I want to play outside!"
"The rain is so depressing!"
"Stupid rain woman!"

The hurtful words cut deeper then a knife.
It hurt more then the pain that any stick or stone could make

Juvia covered her ears. Closing her eyes tight she screams.
"Go away! Go away!"

"Hello there!" Juvia looks up, hearing the little girl again.
She stands in front of her, bright smile.

Gentle tears flow down Juvias soft porcelain cheeks.
"Don't mind them, they know not of how a blessing rain can really be."
Juvia feels the ends of her mouth curl upwards.
She reaches up shocked.

Before she knows it she's falling, her short hair tosses in her face,
She hugs herself forgetting witch way is up and witch way is down,
She's left in a confusing jumble mess, tossing her around as though she's a ball.

Her head soon grows dizzy of this feeling, and it wretches in pain,
Causing Juvia to scream as this painful dream continues.
Suddenly everything stops.

Juvia is left a mess falling to the ground as her body and mind try to recover.
The only familiar thing around her is the rain. It's soothing putter patter calms the rage of her headache.
When she can finally see clearly, she stands up.
Turning around Juvia jumps at the proximity of the young tan girl.

"Hello there!"
Who is she, Juvia wonders, what a strange dream Juvia is having, she thinks.
Juvia is now in the school yard, in the rain.
"You know, my family owns some land a long distance from here.
There's a little town there too!
There we rarely see rain. You should come with me, next summer!
I'm going there to visit them!"

The rain pours on the poor girls head, but...
She's happy.
She dances around as though she couldn't be happier.

"Juvia would love too."
As Juvia says those four words the girl turns her attention back to her.
A bright yet warm smile sketched across her face.
"I'm so glad!" It was hard to tell but Juvia would bet her life that that girl had tears falling from her cheerful eyes. Tears of joy? This is what Juvia thought.

Before Juvia could return the sweet girls smile or ask her what was the matter,
As if in the blink of an eye. The girl vanished. The rain was still there.
But neither the girl nor school yard was present.
Juvia lowered her head. Closing her eyes, A tear slid down her cheek.

A clapping noise was heard over the sweet melody of the rain.
Juvia turned to see many people dancing.
In the rain.

The men, woman, and children then beckoned  Juvia to join in on the celebration.
"So your the rain woman?" A cheerful young man asked.
"Juvia is Juvia."

"Well thank you Juvia, this rain..." He looks up at the sky. "Is the prettiest thing."
Juvia loved the dances the people did as the rained poor heavily on their head.
She joined in too, as everyone praised her.
'A gift from the gods' they would say.

Juvia closed her eyes in glee, but oppening them in fear as a warm breeze drifted around her. Juvia felt dry.

Oppening her eyes, she was in her bed.
The tan skinned girl standing smiling at her.
"It was nice to meet you Juvia. I wish... I wish you could stay longer."
The poor girl was raining from her eyes as her statement came to an end.

"Juvia wants to stay. Juvia will stay."
"No Juvia, it's time for you to wake up." The girl smiled wiping her tears away.
"Juvia is awake. And you are here! So your real too!"
The rain grew heavier outside her room.

"Juvia promise me you won't forget!"
"Juvia doesn't understand, Juvia wants to stay with you."
Juvia cried her heart out. The throbbing pain of a broken heart was too much to bear.
"Juvia don't be sad. If you look through your heart, I'll always be there."

"Before you disappear. Please tell Juvia your name."
"Ameko."
Juvia jumped from the bed in whatcha she lay, she took hold of ameko, holding her tight.

"Please don't forget me Juvia."
"Juvia promises."

"JUVIA WILL NEVER FORGET!" Juvia screamed to the gods!

And with that. Juvia woke up.
And life went on, all dreams are eventually forgotten.
If only she didn't forget, and saw through her heart.
Would Juvia have seen. The world as it SHOULD be
