Chapter 9

Brad's P.O.V~

I watched Stormi fall into a restless sleep. I began thinking about everything she told me. That explains why she flinches everytime I touch her, why she panics easily. Her anxiety. I do not blame or dis her for having anxiety issues, everyone has anxiety. Some just have it worse than others.

'I wonder how mate will do meeting pack and becoming Luna.' My wolf Cody said with a little unease in his voice.

'I don't know bud, we will have to give her time. But I know she will be a good Luna.' I replied softly.

'Mates wolf says they're half Luna.'

'How so?'

'She says Stormi's dad is the alpha's brother.'

The alpha. Crap! I completely forgot that I had to meet with him at 7pm. Well I mine as well talk to her dad while I'm at it.

After Stormi woke up we went downstairs. I had her lead me to Alpha Zachariah. She kissed my cheek and went to find her little sister.

"Come in Bradly." I heard Alpha Zachariah say. I entered the office silently and sat in a chair.

"I come to speak to you of a few things." I say.

"Go on."

"First off, my pack has been doing well, the other pack near me Sundancers, are a small pack like we had expected. The new alpha is Sam and his Luna Winter. The pack is no bigger than about...80 maybe 90."

"Thank you Bradley for checking in with them. I wanted to make sure they went rouges. And I heard you and Max found your mates."

"Yes, and Max told me you talked to him..."

"Yes I did. So who's your mate? Max wouldn't tell me."

"Uh..Mm...Stormi~Autumn...your niece." I said hesitant knowing already what he was going to say.

"Congratulations..but don't hurt her anymore than she is! I swear I will KILL you with my BARE HANDS!!" He said using his alpha voice on certain words. "In time she will tell you why she has trust issues and don't talk much.."

"Yeah, she told me last night...I kinda flipped a lid and scared her a bit cause my wolf took over...then I cried for awhile." I explained calmly as I hear my wolf whimper.

"Yeah I know. She's a very broken child. But I know you can help her restore the of her."

Time lapse~

After our meeting I went to find Stormi. We went into the kitchen and she began cooking.

"So I spoke with the alpha...he knows bout us." I said calmly taking a seat at the counter and watching her start a pot of water.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I know what he said already too...not to break me and that I'll tell you bout my past etc." She said sitting at the counter across from me.

"Basically. But I wanted to talk to you..about something. It's quite important but if it stresses you out to much tell me, and we can figure something else out."

"It's about moving with you...isn't it?"

"Yeah. I was planning to leave Friday. It's Saturday now, so that would give you a week...to pack, and all..."

"What about jaxson and Max? " she asked.

"That I'm not sure yet, but I'm pretty sure he will be coming too. Thursday night there will be about 20 of my pack warriors coming with trucks and all to haul the stuff." I replied.

"Okay. Let's talk to my parents at dinner!" She exclaimed happily.

I sat feeling a little nervous at the table next to Stormi. She kept her head down eating silently as everyone made small talk.

"Uh-mmm..." I cleared my throat to get their attention.

"I wanted to speak to you guys. About me and Stormi." I said looking at her parents no longer feeling nervous.

"Okay, go ahead alpha Bradley." Her dad said.

"Me and Stormi talked and agreed that she will be leaving with us Friday. That gives her a week to pack and spend time with everyone. Thursday about 20 of mt warriors will bring trucks and all to haul their stuff."

"What about you son?" Their dad looked to Jaxson.

"I'm going too, I couldn't imagine not being near Max." He replied.

"Okay, so be it. I give you Bradley and Max my blessing. But hear me clear, you hurt one of my babies I promise you that there will be nothing at all left of you guys when I'm done with you!" Her mom said.

Wow. She's uh, a little..dominant I guess. I dunno.

After dinner~

Well that all went well. It was currently 12:42am and Stormi, Max, Rilee, jaxson and I were all watching movies. Stormi and me were on the left side of the huge couch snuggling and jaxson and Max were laying on the floor with some pillows cause Rilee and her friends Will and Rosa kicked them off the couch and took over the other half.

Rosa and will were twins. Rosa had light Sandy hair with Hazel eyes while her brother will had dark brown hair with Hazel eyes. They looked similar in the face though. They both had a semi pale complexion with freckles. They were cute kids though.

After finishing Horton hears a who we pit in Thor. About 15 minutes into the movie the little ones fell asleep. Halfway through Max and jaxson fell asleep. Me and Stormi were the only ones awake and she put in the avengers.

"I love you." I said whispering in her ear. She turned around and snuggled into me.

"I love you too." She yawned.

I'm sooo sorry...I've been going through alot lately and haven't gotten to update. Imma try my hardest to get at least one more chapter in...thanks for being patient..love y'all.
