Chapter 1: Saying goodbye

Books - check

Pencil case- check

Lunch- check

Phone - check

Clothes- check

Underwear- check

Looking satisfied at my bag was when my mom opened the door and gave me a nervous smile , she wasn't looking forward to saying goodbye to me.

"Are you ready to go to college honey :)" she inquired and I nodded brushing my hair.

"Yeah" I replied. I tried to persuade her that i was going to be okay .

"Have you got your phone?" She asked . I nodded .

"yes i'm sure i got everything mom " i instructed. watching her skim my bag .

"Good girl" She exclaimed. I turned around and started cleaning up. I didn't expect to finish cleaning so fast.

"Breakfast is ready" She yelled from downstairs.

"Ill come in a minute" I replied.

Dragging my bag down stairs was a struggle and when I finally reached I quickly sat on the table and starting eating.

"I made your favorite, pancakes" She grinned . I started jumping out of excitement . I was done with breakfast and it was time to say goodbye.

"I'm going to miss you" she said in a soft tone , i couldn't take anymore of her upsetting looks so I figured it would be best to get into Riley's car before it starts to get intense.

"I'm going to miss you to" I go in for hug which is longer than its supposed to be. Saying goodbye to my mom and my bedroom was harder than I expected.

"I have to go Riley's waiting" going in for a last goodbye kiss.

"Okay Madi , Don't forget to give me a call when you get there!" She exclaimed. I grabbed my suitcase and as usual Riley was lost in her own world . I placed my suitcase in the boot and sat in the car , We were ready to go.

"At last I thought she would never let you go !" Riley yelled , While she was changing the channels on the radio.

It was going to be a long trip because where we were heading is in the south east from where we live . I was kinda upset that I wasn't going to be seeing my mom for at least 5 months .

"At least we are sharing the apartment" She included, humming to let me love you by Justin Bieber which was coming in the radio. I slept through most of the journey. At last we had reached. The dorm was amazing it was exactly like the pictures we saw online , but who was that hunk standing there ?
