"Is that all?" he asked me after I explained everything.
I nodded not looking up. I just couldn't see his expression. I just knew he was hurt.
His warm presence was lifted from beside me.
I peeked up and saw him pacing the room back in fourth, faster and faster.
His left hand rested on the back of his neck and his right rested on his waist. His head was down and his back was slightly curved. I stood up slowly and went to stand in his way.
My head spun, I needed him. To hug me. To tell me everything was OK, even though it wasn't.
My standing in his way didn't stop him, he simply went around me.
"You're mad" I stated the obvious.
He stopped and looked at me like I was stupid, "That's a bit of an understatement, Taylor." he said sourly, "- or should I call you Ma'am?" he asked narrowing his eyes.
My heart stopped.
"I'm sorry" my voice cracked.
He looked at me again before pacing again.
Exactly 33 seconds after he blew up he stopped then suddenly kissed me.
He pulled away quickly and wiped the tears I didn't know fell. I avoided his gaze.
"I'm sorry, I'm taking this out on you. I'm just pissed you've been in danger. For all this time!" He looked into my soul.
His soft finger lifted my face and pulled me suddenly. I gasped at the impact of his chest, I breathed hard as his eyes bored into mine.
"I'm sorry" he whispered. "Okay?" he asked when I didn't look at him. I nodded slowly. Then a blinding smile came onto his face. I tried my best not to squint.
"I'm dating the President's Daughter!" He joyed.
Then anger pulsed through me, I pushed him away.
"You aren't even the slightest bit concerned about your safety. Come on Jordan. I thought you were better than that. Are you not getting this through your head? You could die. You will die. I will die!" I yell.
He grabs my arms, "You said your dad didn't know where you were." he stated.
My madness faltered.
He was going to piece it together. He was going to kill Trey.
"Yes?" he pressed lifting my chin once more.
"Yes" I whispered.
He began pacing again, "Who else knew?" he asked quickly.
I didn't wanna snitch.
"Jordan it's not a big deal."
He stopped, "Not a big deal?" his face was expressionless. "You could die. Just like you said, WE could die." He paced again, "Who?"
"It's a nobody." I said, "He doesn't matter." I flew my hands over my mouth with a quiet gasp.
He stopped again in front of me. "He." He tucked his tongue in his cheek.
Then he gasped, "Trey came here from..... we don't know. He knew you before you came here. Before here, you were at the White House. Therefore, Trey knows you're the President's Daughter."
Anger crossed his expression. Not just really mad though. Angry. A deadly murderous stare crossed his gorgeous features.
"I will kill him for this!" he snarled.
