They had started playing Can't Sleep Love ft Tink, everyone's faces lit up, Avi and Scott soon joining us in our booth, Scott next to me and Avi next to him. We all started singing along to the song, me and Scott taking the lead.
When we finished the song everyone looked at me with wide eyes, I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "What?," they smiled as Mitch chirrped up, "You have a beautiful voice girl," I laughed, "Thanks, but I'm not much of a singer," I looked at my watch my eyes widening. I stood up quickly,  making them stand along with me, "Sorry guys, I don't want to be late for my Dance class," I said moving out of the booth, Scott got excited, "You take dance lessons?" I shook my head, "Nope I teach dance at my studio," I said before turning around about to walk away, But Mitch stopped me, "Can we come?" I was a little taken back but I guess no harm would come to it, "Sure just follow me in my car," They all smiled happily and nodded soon enough we were off.

It was about a 15 minute drive. Avi decided to go with me in my car, along with Mitch as well. Everyone else followed me. Mitch took control of the aux cord almost immediately and it made me giggle. We just jammed out to Mitchell's music until we pulled up to the parking lot and parked, the others pulling in after me a minute later. I let them in after unlocking the door and smiled showing them around the dance studio.
After the tour we walked back to the front where the classes take place, "So you guys want to participate in class?" I said taking my jacket off and throwing it to the side, they all looked at each other and nodded before turning to me as Scott spoke up "We'd love that," I smiled as I examined their clothing, "Uhm, I'll be right back," I quickly ran down the hall and picked up some clothes for them to change into, and headed back. They looked up at me as I tossed them each a pair of clothes and instructed them to go change which they did. While they were doing so the class started filling in.
We began with a simple stretch as Avi and the others came back and formed a line at the back of the room, following my instructions like everyone else. Afterward I pressed play on my phone and started the playlist this class has been working on, "Now all you in the back just try to follow along as well as you can with the class and at the end we'll go over the moves," they all nodded and shook out their limbs while preparing themselves. And then it started, most of the class following me in sync, Avi not doing very well, Mitch copying the moves just a beat off as well as Kirstie, Scott seemed slightly lost but still giving it a try, and then Kevin seemed to start laughing every time he got a move wrong, making me smile softly in return. When the songs ended I told everyone to take a water break and I waved the 5 of them over, they quickly jogged to me out of breath, "Mavis I'll be honest," Mitch said while whipping his eyebrow, "That was tough," I giggled, "Yeah I like to throw my students in the fire. Just to see what they got," I looked over at Avi, "You okay?" He was hunched over trying to catch his breath as was Scott, Avi nodded "Yeah, I'm fine." I smiled as I put my water bottle down, "Y'all did good, though Kevin, you should laugh less, Scott needs a bit more foot work and Avi Hun you need to keep tempo," they all nodded, "Mitch and Kirstie y'all did amazing," they jumped up and down excited.
After the water break, I had the rest of the class continue practicing as I worked with Avi and the others, Kirstie and Mitch definitely got it down so I had to bring the three boys in the middle and I sat thinking, "Okay, how about this. Think of the moves like a story, you guys are masters at telling stories with your music so think of the dance as that," they nodded while smiling, understanding what I was talking about, "Okay good," we started the dance again, this time them picking it up a little better almost getting it completely, when it was done they smiled and high fived each other, "Good job guys, I'm so proud of y'all," I smiled as I thought of something,
"So I taught a dance routine to one of your songs a couple months ago, you wanna see it?" Their eyes lit up as they nodded, "Oh my god yes!" Mitch said for the group, I smiled as I brought them to stand in the back all the dancers facing them, "Okay guys, y'all remember the choreography to I need your love?" They all nodded excited, " Good, let's see how well y'all remember," they all got into their positions as did I after pressing play on my phone, and began the dance when it started. Surprised, The group smiled and started singing along to the song while hyping us up. I smiled as the last few moves were mine, everyone freezing in stance at the end of the song. When it was done, everyone clapped and yelled compliments, Mitch ran and hugged me, "Oh my god Mavis, that was awesome, " I giggled, "Oh it was nothing," Scott spoke up, "Nothing? Come on, that's the best choreography I've ever seen to any of our songs," everyone nodded in agreement, I smiled, "Thanks guys," I turned and released everyone to go home. After everyone left, we all changed, and gathered our things, while Mitch spoke, "Hey guys! How bout we go to dinner together? I wanna get to know Mavii a bit," I smiled, " Awe Mitchy," he smiled as he hugged me around the necked and pouted at the others, "Please??" They all looked at each other and smiled, "Sure, where should we go?" Kevin said, while leaning against the wall, I shrugged, "Y'all up for some Asian food?" They all smiled, "Yessssss," they all said in unison. I giggled, alright well let's go.

We all jumped into our cars and, pulled out of the parking lot and drove to my favorite Asian restaurant. Which only took about 10 minutes. When we made it there we all quickly went inside and got our table, while we waited for our food to be brought to us, Mitch started off the conversation,
"So Maviii, we know you can dance, do you have any other hobbies?" I smiled "Well, I draw quite often, I also write small stories, uhmm...," I sat thinking for a second until Avi spoke up, "She can sing to," Mitch nodded with a smile, "Yeah we heard a bit of that at the coffee shop," Avi smiled, "But she can hit Christine's high note in Phantom of the Opera," they all gasp, Mitch smiled, "So we haven't heard much is what you're saying Av," he nodded taking a sip from his drink, I giggled,
"Yes, I can sing, though I'm not as confident in my voice as you guys are," Scott who was sitting to my left smiled, "We can help you with that, confidence is Mitch's forte," I smiled, "More like Mitch's being," Mitch smiled and leaned forward, "You got that right sis." I giggled. Kevin then spoke up, "Have any Family?" I smiled softly, "Yeah but I don't really know where most of them are, my little sister on the other hand, lives in Sweden," they looked at me, "Sweden?" Avi nodded, "She's dating PewDiePie," they all gasped, "The YouTuber?" Kirstie asked, I laughed and nodded "Yup." At that moment our food arrived causing the conversation to pause.
When the waitress finally left everyone took a few bites of their food and gushed about how good it tasted. I nodded and ate till about half of my plate before sparking up a conversation, "So uh are y'all going on tour soon? Or y'all on a break?" Mitch spoke up, "We are on a three month break, Esther is setting up tour dates, and we have to come up with the songs we are going to sing," I nodded, "Sounds like a fun time," they all nodded while eating. The rest of the time I just sat and listened to them being silly and joking around with each other, making me laugh every now and then. After finishing up our plates we payed the bill and just continued chatting until I heard a familiar voice behind, "Hey Mavis," everyone quieted down and watched as I turned around and stood slowly, "Jake, what are you doing here," everyone in the restaurant quieted down and watched the scene play out, "I saw your car outside," I scoffed, "That didn't answer my question," he stepped closer, "Well thought I'd come talk to you since you didn't give me a chance to explain anything," I crossed my arms angrily, totally forgetting the people I was with, "Jake there was nothing to explain, I let you get away with hurting me way to many times, cheating on me with my best friend was the cherry on top of the cake," he clenched his jaw, "It didn't mean anything Mavis, it just happened," I laughed bitterly, "Sure, was hitting me a mistake?" He tightened his fist, "Don't test me Mavis, I'm trying to be a better man," I held a laugh, "Yeah, well, I'm 100% sure that'll never happen, there's plenty of better men out there and you will never be one of them, just leave me alone already," I was about to turn to tell the others let's go, before a hand on my shoulder turned me around, and a hand making contact with my face causing me to slightly stagger back, though before I knew it, Avi was up in seconds, his fist meeting Jakes nose as he flew back against a wall and slid down, holding his nose. Worried it would go farther I grabbed Avis wrist, "Come on Avi, he's not worth it," he stared at Jake for a minute with probably the most terrifying glare I've ever seen before turning around and walking away with me and the others.
We all got in our cars after I instructed them to follow me to my house, they all nodded and followed, just Avi joining me this time.
He was quiet for a while before speaking up, "You never told me about him," I nodded slightly, "He's not something I like to talk about, especially to someone I don't want to scare away..." He turned to look at me, "Why would that scare me away," I shrugged, "Well when you make friends, the last thing you want to tell them is, 'Ive got a crazy ex boyfriend'" he stared at me and then sighed calming down some, "Yeah, you're probably right," I sighed, "I'm really sorry Avi, I never would have wanted to bring you into some drama," I shook his head, "He shouldn't have hit you," I smiled, "Thank you, by the way. No one's ever stuck up for me like that," he smiled, "Any time, Mavis." When I parked in front of my house and Scott followed, we all got off the car and went inside.
Everyone piled into the living room taking seats where ever they could. I smiled as I sat on the couch between Mitch and Avi, Mitch speaking up, "Are you okay Mavis?" I nodded, "Yeah, I'm alright," he rubbed my back, "That was your Ex right?" I nodded, "Yup, he's tried doing the same thing in public before, only someone saved me this time," everyone turned and smiled at Avi, he crossed his arms, "I'll do it again if I have to," I smiled and side bumped him with my shoulder, "Anyway, enough of that sad stuff, how about we have some fun?" They all looked at me confused, "Unless of course, y'all want to go home and sleep," Scott smiled, "What else do you have in mind?" I put a finger on my lip as I thought, "Well, I have a wine cellar aaaand a karaoke machine," they all gasped, Kirstie clapping, "Let do iiiit," I giggled as everyone helped me arrange the living room and bring up some wine. Tonight was going to be fun.
