"Okay, guys so for homework do pages 23 and 24. With that being said you are dismissed have a wonderful rest of the day."

Hearing those words I gathered my things and left the classroom.

I never really had friends, so I was usually by myself all the time. I wouldn't say I was bullied in school, but I didn't get amazing attention.

I was picked on sometimes because of the way I dressed and acted, but I stood up for myself and didn't take no shit. So most of the time I was left alone, thank God.

I had one friend and her name was Kelsey. She wasn't popular, but she wasn't lame either. She was cool with most of the popular people though.

This was my senior year. I was happy to be graduating and all, but high school wasn't what I thought it would be. I want my senior year to be fun.

I'm smart as hell. I've been taking ap classes since middle school, so I wasn't worried about my grades or anything.

I was worried about my social life. I haven't had a boyfriend in god knows how long and friends, I didnt have too many.

I was ok looking. I was 5'4, slim, I had long curly hair, I was just nerdy. That's the way I was raised though.

I never get my eyebrows arched, or my nails done. I never really cared for that stuff.

I liked being natural, I hated make up. I felt like this year someone would notice how pretty I am. Even under these glasses and baggy clothes.

I was waiting on that day. I've been waiting on that day for a while now.

Hearing kelsey come down the hallway snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Why are you sitting here staring?"

"I was thinking, you know how you're like in a trance?"

"Yea, yea I know what you're talking about."

"Alrighty then."

"Imma text you, my dad Is picking me up today." She said leaving.

"Alright."

I had my own car because my dad was an entrepreneur. So basically I was in no trouble money wise, I just didn't ask for much.

I walked to my car, ready to go home.

I got home In about 30 minutes due to me stopimg and getting food.

"Hey baby." My mom said as I entered the house.

"Hi mom."

"How was school?"

"Its was okay, did we get any mail?"

"Me and your father did, but I haven't seen a letter from that college."

Sighing "okay."

"You'll get in honey, don't worry about it.
