It's funny, in a way. When I needed you, you were never here. I never knew you; yet right now I feel like we are best friends.
I get what you went through. I get how hard it must have been with Dad. But at least you are leaving your mark. I was your legacy, Dad said I was destined to follow your footsteps.
I don't think he meant that like this. I'm leaving this world soon, but that isn't why my heart is heavy. I just wish I could have left my mark, MY legacy.
