Chapter 35

I sat on my bed, and plugged in my Mac as I logged in. I kept thinking of Niall, my roommate, and how everything is going to be here at SCC. I was very nervous, and I won't lie about it. After about thirty minutes of surfing the internet, someone walked in the door, in a fit of laughter.

I looked over, and a girl with black hair and blue highlights laid back on her bed. She sat up, and looked at me with a smile.

"Hey. I'm Olivia" She greeted me, and walked over to her dresser, fixing her hair.

"Ariana"

Olivia sat back down and folded her hands in her lap. She didn't seem as bad as I imagined. I continued to read until someone knocked at the door. Olivia answered it, and two other guys and a girl walked in without Olivia's permission. What, is it like party in the dorm room?

"You ready?" One of the guys asked her, and she nodded.

"Ariana, you wanna join us?" She asked and looked in my direction. I shook my head no with a smile.

"Oh come on, it'll be fun! We're just going to the bar around the corner from here" A bar? It's only five.

"No thanks, I don't really drink and-"

"Live a little!" The other girl said. Yeah I guess she 'lives a little' seeing her green and blue hair. I bet you can notice her from the other side of town.

"Come on" Olivia said, and made her way towards me. She carefully shut my Mac, and placed it on the floor. She was all in a rush to get me out, so I hurried to grab my phone and we made our way in the hall. She quickly locked the door and we went outside. I had no idea how Niall would react to this, but I do know he wouldn't be to pleased.

"Olivia, sorry I didn't introduce. This is Shaun, Lucas and Emily"

I smiled as she introduced us. We climbed into the black, shiny looking van and buckled up. I sat in the car quietly, while Emily sat beside me and Shaun was in the very back. I pulled out my phone, and muted it before typing in my password. I had two missed texts from Niall.

*i miss you already*

*im guessing you probably fell asleep. text me when you wake up, love u x*

I smiled at how much he cared, and looked out for me.

*i wasn't sleeping. I guess my phone was on vibrate or I didn't hear it & I love you too*

I hit send and leaned my forehead against the window, watching as we drove past different buildings. I didn't want my time at SCC to be out drinking all the time. My phone vibrated and Niall's name popped up.

*its okay. so what have you been doing?*

I didn't exactly want to tell him about how Olivia is taking me to a bar the first few hours we were here. But, I also didn't want to lie to him.

*okay. my roommate, Olivia came and a few of her friends came. so, she literally forced me off the bed and now we're going to the bar*

I slowly hit send and I was scared for his reaction for some reason.

*what? why did you go* I could tell Niall isn't to happy right now.

*Niall just calm down, I won't drink anything*

We came to a stop, and I hit send before stuffing my phone in my pocket. Lucas held the door for us and walked in before Shaun did. There was some people here, but not to much. Also, there was other people already drunk. We took a seat by the bar, and the man behind it came towards us. Everyone ordered their drinks, while I just ordered something that wasn't even alcohol.
