It happened again. I woke up in a place I didn’t even recognize. How I got here I don’t even know. Last time I checked I was in the hospital. But now I’m in someone’s bed wrapped up in someone’s sheets with my legs elevated with someone’s pillows in someone’s house. Whose house is this anyway?

??? I’ts okay. You’re safe with me and this is my private house.

It was as if he heard my question. I turned my head around so quick I caught a neck cramp and winced. He came rushing to my side to check on me. I looked up at the guy standing beside me and it was Roc. In this light he looked glorious like a knight. I shook the idea away instantly feeling bad about thinking about him this way. I looked up at him confused hoping for some answers. And I almost lost my train of thought when he flashed me his smile…

Roc: I uh visited you in the hospital. Don’t ask why but for some reason I really wanted and needed to be there… When I saw you lying there not moving or anything I thought you were sleeping but the nurses said you slipped in a coma about 2 days after making progress and that you haven’t had any visitors besides your mom. I talked her into letting you stay with me and my family until you came to and my mother is a doctor so she decided that this was better than you staying home alone.

Me: Wow thanks a lot.

Roc: Don’t mention it just get some rest. Oh! And when you’re up to it you can get started on your homework. I brought it home from school for you.

Me: Thanks, again. Um has anyone looked for me? I mean you said I didn’t have any visitors in the hospital

Roc: Yea but Toya asks about you every day and she even sent me some food for you (smiles) as if we couldn’t take care of you here.

Me: Anyone else?

Roc: Like?

Me: I don’t know. Maybe one of your friends?

Roc: Oh yea! Prod sends his “get well” wishes. Even calls you sis now

Me: Well that was sweet. And …

Roc: And that’s it

Me: Oh (looks down)

Roc: I know what you’re thinking and no Prince hasn’t said anything or visited. I’m sorry…

Me: T-that’s okay I guess. H-he probably had a good reason you know?

Roc: Yea he must have. Or just doesn’t want to come.

(Tracey POV)

He is one lying mistake of a man. I hate him for lying to her like that!

Tracey: YOU BASTARD!

Roc: Watch your mouth Tammy!

Tracey: It’s Tracey!

Roc: Who ever! Why are you here I was talking to Sashii

Tracey: No you were lying to her! Tell her the truth! Prince has been here every day since the incident

Roc: I did tell her the truth! The painful truth! Prince doesn’t want her okay! He left her in that hospital to rot! I came to her rescue or have you forgotten that?

Tracey: But he’s sorry and I know it. He’s been making up for it since you brought her here Roc he has been by her side holding her hand. Tell her that now!

Roc: No! Where was he when she slipped into that coma? Where was he when my mom diagnosed her with MPD? Where was your dear Princeton when she got the infection during the healing process? He was nowhere to be found Tracey and out of the 2 months that Sashii was in the coma he was there only the past 2 weeks and what he deserves a damn reward? No because I was there Tracey not him
