"hey cap!" "Morning Mad!" My dad replied. I call him cap or captain as a nick name. "So 2.0 xeris, zero, Mason, Macy, and Jess, are headed to the beach today." I said as I put a strawberry in my mouth. "Really? Like they coming over here and messing around at the beach?" He asked. "Yeah! U get it! Finally!" I said as I playfully punched him in the shoulder. We both laughed a little and ate breakfast. After words I grabbed my bag and opened the door. "I'M HEADING OUT! SEE YOU IN A WHILE CAPTAIN!" "HAVE FUN!" He called from upstairs as I left the house.
I dashed out on the beach to meet my friends.
"Hey Maddie!" "Hey 2.0! Wait where's Macy?" I asked. "Oh, she couldn't come because of a family issue.... I think." Mason replied. "Oh." I said. "How about we have a compotion! Girls vs boys in! A sand castle building contest!" "YOU'RE ON!" Zero shouted and we all got to work right away. A couple hours later we all finished and I got my dad out here to be the judge. "Hmmmmm....... The girls win with their astonishing display of a mid evil castle!" My dad cheered in glee. The boys clapped as Xeris Jess and 2.0 were internally screaming for only Kira knows why.
"Now c'mon! Let's go eat some lunch!" My dad yelled. "LAST ONE THERE WALKS THE PLANK!" I yelled as I ran to my house. "NO FAIR!" They yelled. "YOU GOT A HEAD START!" Xeris yelled. A little bit later we were all inside eating lunch. "Hey mad! Keep an eye on the house while I'm gone! I'll be back in 2 weeks. Gotta go to the market! See you then! Bye!" He called and I yelled goodbye back. Me and my friends had the place to ourselves which I'm really glad about so now I don't have to do chores! Yaaaass!
The next day I went outside to relax on the beach or look around to see what I could find. Macy, still had her family issues to deal with. Zero, is celebrating his brother's birthday. Xeris, is looking for new robot pieces for her arm and leg. Jess, is at home taking care of her grandmother. Mason, got sick so he's home resting. And for 2.0... She went on a family vacation this morning. So I'm on my own for a little while.
A cool breeze kicked up and it blew my dirty blonde hair to the side. I took a deep breath and exhaled. I looked in the distance beside me and squinted because I thought I saw something running towards me. My eyes widened more as I realized something was running at me. It was a boy. He was running from something until I realized he was running from guards. What did this guy do?!
He kept running towards me then he grabbed my hand and just kept going.
"WHAT THE HELL?! LET GO OF ME!" I yelled. The boy looked behind him to look at me, and he smiled a goofy grin. I couldn't help but smile too.
We kept running but I couldn't help but wonder where we were going?
