Alex's Pov

"So, do you think you could get that vet assistant to come?" I looked to Ava who smiled and nodded. "She might be not happy but hey it might work!" Ava squealed. "You know, since I have know you guys, I haven't seen Rain date I don't think."Kyle scratched his head. "That's because she hasn't. She is too self conscious since she is on the little bigger side." I sighed. "Not really, I mean sure shes a little chubby but I wouldn't say shes overweight of fat, just some extra curves." Kyle's friend Zeke shook his head. "Oh? And do you like her?" Kyle wiggled his eyebrows. "I mean I would if I didn't grow up around her you know? Shes like of of the guys with me and my brother Antony remember? Plus she is strong as hell and can be scary! She once knocked the shit out of Anthony for bad mouthing a friend of hers. But since then we have all been good friends and she has helped Anthony get rid of a few girls, man those were some good times!" Zeke chuckled. 

"So is Jesse going to be at the bonfire?"Ava smirked. "I don't know, heck last I heard him and his girl were going strong. I would hate to have him come over and she still like him and hey he is with a girl, you know?" I ran my hand through my hair. "Are you guys really going to try and set her up with a guy she liked in high school?" Kyle shook his head. "I feel bad, she is always helping us with our relationships but she hasn't found her someone yet you know? I want to go on double dates with her!" Ava pouted. "Shes socially awkward though." Zeke spoke and then threw his hands up when I glared at him. "No! I mean though have you ever actually thought about it, she isn't around her friends but how hard is it to get to know her? She has a lot of walls put up. It took Anthony getting knocked out and him trying to apologize and she cracked and then well look at their friendship now! does she even have an interest in dating?" Zeke defend himself.

"He is right Ava, what if she doesn't want to date?" I asked her. "But why would she be OK with it? Think about it, she makes jokes about it all the time but I wonder how she really truly feels you know?" "And aren't you guys her best friends, y'all live with her and still no idea? We need to get going, practice." Kyle sighed and Kissed Ava. "Ava, we are going to get her a date!" I smiled. "Right, fighting!" She giggled, Rain watched a lot of Korean dramas and that's something they always say. Sigh.

Rain's Pov

"Rain, you did well today.  Everyone else was either out of town, sick or just didn't answer. You keep it up and will be a fine Veterinarian." Dr. Conley smiled as she got in her car and drove off, I smiled and locked up the clinic knowing that we just saved a mother and her pups who got to go home.

I parked my truck at the feed store and got out, mentally remembering what I needed. "Hey Rain, how many bags of feed today?" Jon, the old man who ran the feed store asked. "Well, I guess let me get 20 bags, I'll just make Ava pay me back, no need for two trips." I smiled and looked around as he had some one load the feed in my truck. "Getting something else today?" Jon asked as he gave a customer their change. "Yes, looking for some salt licks, Nova wasn't fond on the carrot one Alex got her." I laughed and accidentally bumped into someone, it was a  good friend Anthony. "Oh god are you following me? I know I am sexy but dang." He joked and I laughed. "No, not even close. I think your brother might be better looking than you and that would be saying something since he is only 18." I laughed and he scoffed. "So much for friends. Oh but did Alex ask you about the bonfire?" He changed the subject. "Oh yeah, that sounds fun. On the condition you ride Nova you can come." I smirked and he shook his head. "Hell no, that beast scares me, I don't see how you ride because let's see, how many falls have you had?" 

"Only two on my horse, have you forgotten I had been helping a friend train her youngster?" I picked up a peppermint salt block. "Who cares, horses scare me. Good to look at but not ridding one." He picked up a bag of dog food. "You still scared, man grow a pair!" Jon called and I laughed. "It was good seeing ya, come by and help set up since it was yours and Ryan's Idea. I am going to go home and ride some. Thanks Jon." I payed and he smiled. "No problem hun, come back soon!" I waved and headed home. 

Ava's POV

"Ok, so I bought some burgers and smores! What else do we need?" I tried thinking of what we already had. "Booze, but you can't buy that yet." I turned around and wow, it was Anthony! "Hey just the man!" I smiled. "I really don't like it when you smile like that, it's scary. What are you planning?" "Well, I want you to bring a certain some one to the bonfire." Anthony raised an eyebrow, "Who?" "Well, His name is Jesse, Jesse Walker." I grabbed his shoulders and he looked frighted. "What are you going to do to Jesse?" "Is he single, I have a friend who just turned 18 and would love to meet him." I lied and he bought it. "Oh Jesse, well. He has been busy doing photography. Last I heard he and his girl Clare were going strong until he found out she had been cheating." Anthony sighed. "How did he find out, walk with me I need to get stuff."  He chuckled but walked, "Well, the guy she had been two timing with was wanting to propose to his girlfriend of 4 years, he called to get someone to capture the moment and that just so happened to be Jesse." "What? No way! And-" "Sh let me finish child. Yes, Jesse showed up and hid were he was told and when he saw Clare walking hand in hand with the guy he almost lost it. But he waited until the guy proposed and he caught the pics of them kissing and then left. He sent them the pics and well that's all I know!" "Oh god wow, poor Jesse." I felt bad for the guy. "Tell me, is this friend Rain?" Anthony smirked and my eyes got big and my face got red. "What? No way!"  I tried to lie but did I mention I am not the best liar? "I am her best guy friend, I saw how she would look at him back then. But do you think he might feel the same or that she might even still be into him?" He had a valid point, multiple points.
