A thousands miles cant break us apart

"So this is it? We won't see each other again till spring" a tear ran down my face

"I guess," she sniffled a tear ran down her face

"This will be the longest time we have ever not seen each other face to face,"

" we can always text" her eyes now filled with tears

"Stop your going to make me cry even more!" I wined

"I'm sorry it's just who would have thought that we would be on opposites sides of the USA !"

"I know, when we where little we promised each other we would go to the same college! Guess we broke that promise!" I laughed

"We broke a lot of promises didn't we!" She laughed

I nodded "yah we did I still can't believe I'm going to collage in Nevada and you in Maine"my eyes filled with tears again

" I know we been through everything together, break ups, happiness, sad, and life" mikalea whispered

Life was true we had no joke been friends since we where 2 weeks old we where 18 now, 18 years of friendship we had been through so much and know we where leaving each other sure we would still be friends, but would it be the same?

"My plane leaves in an hour and I still have to say good bye to jack"

"I'm gonna miss you!" Mikeala dropped her bag on the floor and threw her arms around me I wraped my arms around her back

By now we where both bawling

She pulled away

" don't we look stupid, I'm sure makeup is running" mikaela laughed wiping her eyes

"Just a little" I said handing her a tissue she daped her eyes,

" ok now, I need to get on my plane, " mikalea grabbed her bag

"Call me when you land, all right? I don't care what time it is! You call me, got it?" I laughed

"Ok, I will promise"

"And this one we won't break?"

"I will I wont break that promise"

" ok I will see you in 7 months! That sounds so far away!"I cryed

" it does but it will come quicker then it sounds" a hand was on my shoulder I turned around "hey jack"

"You're plane leaves in 30 minutes you have to go now" said jack

" alright let's go, call or text me every night alright?" I said grabbing my bag and swinging over my shoulder,

"Of corse and after every big test or when I see a cute guy!"

I laughed "yes of corse!" I gave her a quick Hug "bye"

"Bye" mikeala whispered in my ear I let go of her and backed up

"have fun I'll see you later" jack said giving mikaela a hug

I turned around and slowly started walking jack put his arm around me. away my parents where home I had already said good bye to them last night my plane left at 2:30 am and mikealas plane left at 2:50 am had jack offered to take mikeala and I to the airport

"Don't worry you have been friends for 18 years collage won't spilt you apart"he said

I looked behind me but mikeala was gone looking back at jack

I smilied " i know, your right but have nearly seen each other everyday since 6th grade,"

"Won't you miss me! We seen each other everyday since 9th grade!" teased
