I'm starting tomorrow

Gabby's POV

"Honey do you have your stuff ready for your first day of school tomorrow?" my mother asked while checking the Shepherd Pie in the oven. "Yea it's all ready" I said with no joy in my voice. "Oh sweetheart, lighten up. Don't be like that. You'll be fine tomorrow" she said while cupping my face. "But why did I have to move?" I said. "Uh uh. That school has a bad environment sweetheart" mother said.

 Damn!! She's right!! I don't remember the last time they put soap in the toilets and the graffiti all over the school hall, the dead plants, pedophile seniors oh too much bad stuff there. Fingers crossed that my new school will be better. "You're right mum!" - "Of course I am". I giggle and gave her a kiss on the cheek. 

"Go tell your sister that dinner's ready in 5 minutes"- "Okay mum". I run up the stair and quietly and slowly opened my sisters bedroom door and I can hear her conversation with her BF. "Baby when are you gonna see me.....no not Sunday that's far away.....I miss you.....I wish you were in my bed with me so we can-" I quickly interrupted her conversation so I wouldn't have to hear what she was gonna say next. "Mum said dinner's ready real soon" I said quickly. "Okay thanks sis" she said. I closed the her bedroom door and shivered shaking off what she was saying on the phone. Yuck!. My sister's name is Eileen. She's 19. She is 2 years older than me. I love her so much. She is my one and only sibling.

(After dinner)

I'm in my room. I have butterflies in my tummy. "I'm so nervous for tomorrow" I say to myself. "There's nothing to worry about for tomorrow" my sister said coming into my room and sitting next to me on my bed. "Easy for you to say Eileen. You're done with school" - "You'll have friends Gabby and you're smart and plus you only have this year and next year then YOU'RE done with school" - "Okay I...I-I guess you're right" - "I'm always right". I giggle. She's just like mum. "Thanks sis" I say giving her a hug. "I'm always here for you girl we have each other" - "Yea I know. Well I gotta get some sleep for tomorrow so.... get out!" I said. "Whatever" my sister said flipping her hair while walking outta my room. Haha I love her so much. Well gotta get some sleep.
