Revenge

CHAPTER 4

As i walked out Alfredo's house, all I could see was people looking at me. I even had a few people come up to me and ask how i know Alfredo but obviously I had to ignore them because I decided to go and visit James.

I pulled up in front of Esmeralda. I wonder whats up with the name. I slowly walked inside not knowing what to expect. I looked around for James but he saw me first. ''Hey! So you decided to come after all.'' He seemed really excited to see me. How cute! ''Well yeah. I thought I would come and let you show me around.''

Now while i was at Alfredo's I managed to find out who these people were and one thing I found out was that James knew them. ''Yeah sure! Where shall we start?'' He said looking a bit confused. ''How about we start here or near my house?'' ''Perfect.'' I had to win his trust somehow. All I know is that something happened to his family...what if I mention that?

''Esmeralda's a really nice pub name. Is it named after your mother or?'' He went quiet for a bit. In fact he didn't say anything until we got back to my beach house. ''Err sorry about that I just kind of feel weird talking about my mother.'' ''Oh god im sorry I didn't mean to upset you or anything I just think that Esmeralda is a really nice name and its perfect for a pub.'' I said sarcastically. I felt bad. ''No,no its alright.'' He took a deep breath and then spoke ''My mother passed away a week before we opened the pub. She wanted the pub to be named after something special and mum was in ''love'' with the name Esmeralda so, when she passed we decided to name the pub after that.'' I couldn't speak. I was using this boy and he had an upsetting past.''oh im sorry to hear that.'' He smiled ''nah its alright.''

I looked over at the house a few blocks away from mines. Someone was looking at us through binoculars I frowned. I decided not to tell him but ask who lived there. ''That house over theres really nice...who lives there?'' He looked at me with shock. ''You dont know these people?'' 'No I-'' Gosh I hate getting interrupted! ''Sorry my mistake you just moved here. These are the richest people in town. The Clarks. Mr Clark, His new wife Mrs Clark. His son Jamie Clark and their two twin daughters Elizabeth and Blair Clark.'' So these people knew my father, and because of them my father was killed but i wonder what they had to do with my father... I got lost in my own thoughts that i didn't realise that James was trying to tell me something important. ''Hey erm... We've been hanging around and stuff but I still don't know your name.'' ''Oh sorry... Aha im Victoria Jones.'' '' ''Nice to meet you Victoria'' He said sarcastically. Even though he was being sarcastic he had that sweet innocent smile making his face glow. I couldn't help it but feel bad over the fact that I have to use James to get close the The Clarks. I decided to ask him about them.''James Ive just been wondering how are the Clarks so important and famous?'' His eyes widened he seemed so surprised.'' Mr Clark aka Jeremy had recently won the lottery. Well not recently we're talking about 8 years ago and he's still rich as ever. He's part of a famous and big political group. He makes the decisions and unfortunately they follow it and sometimes those decisions aren't so pleasant.'' ''Oh...'' I really didn't know what to say. I was so confused because now two people were looking through binoculars what was their problem? I decided to tell James and he was very calm about it. ''Aha those are the watchmen recently someone has been threatening Mr Clark, so he kept watchmen all around his house.'' I found myself staring at the house. Something seemed so familiar i just couldn't figure it out. ''I never knew that men would wear dresses...'' He looked at me with a weird smile I guess he didn't sense the sarcasm there. ''Theres a wo-'' I didn't finish my sentence because I thought there was no point since the lady walked back into the house.

As I stepped into my luxurious house, I noticed a figure standing in my living room. I tiptoed to my table and gently lifted the top. I grabbed my gun and thats when he turned around. He had something in his hand. I was terrified. He had a smirk on his face and I was waiting not knowing what was going to happen next......
