One

I'm awaken by the nagging sound of Jenn's alarm clock. I roll over to the side of my bed.

"Ugh another day of hell." I mumble.

I eye my older sister, who is still sound asleep.

Her dark brown hair glistens as the sun seeps through our window.

I pull myself out of bed to go to the bathroom. My hazel eyes meet my reflection in the mirror. I grab a brush and impatiently brush my knotty blonde hair. I splash my face with water and grab a towel to dry myself off. I'm officially awake now.

Not that I want to be.

"Ashley come eat breakfast!" My obnoxious mother calls.

"Coming!" I say as I roll my eyes.

I go to wake my older sister, she slaps my arm in annoyance.

"Go away!" she attempts to yell whilst half awake.

She makes me laugh.

"Get up, we have school."

"Leave me here to die, ugh." she says in response as she attempts throwing a pillow at me.

I pad into the kitchen and grab my books. While I walk outside I see my new neighbors unpacking. I go to intruduce myself.

"Hello welcome to the neighborhood" I say awkwardly.

Around the truck I hear a young boy-like voice say, "Hi I am Niall, and you are?"

Wow. He is absolutely beautiful. A lump in my throat forms and I am unable to speak. Why am I so nervous?

His piercing blue eyes stare into mine, waiting for an answer.

"I.. I am... uhm..Ashley." I finally choke out.

"Would you maybe like to hang out later and show me around, I have to get to school at this time" Niall tells me while he smirks.

I think to myself, what should I say?

I spit out, "Yes I would like to hang out. What school are you going to?".

Niall answers back, "I am going to Washington High how bout you?"

"Me too." I blurt out.

My hands are nervously shaking and my books seem to slip out of my fingertips. As I bend over to get the books that have fallen, I see Niall bending down. His crystal blue eyes lock to my hazel ones. Once again. I grab a book and see his hand on another, as i get up I hear Jenn honking her car horn. I roll my eyes and I walk away and smile, not saying anything. You can totally tell I am blushing.

I hear Niall's voice again say, "Bye, see you at school Ashley." As he walks to his car I see him sneak a smile.

I hop into the car and see Jenn staring at me and saying,"Who's he? He's looks too old for you but he's the perfect age for me." she says with a smirk.

I turn around a spit out, "Jenn please you have a boyfriend remember? What's his name again oh i remember Louis."

"Ha, sure." she remarks.

I roll my eyes. I examine my sister and look at our differences. We are so different, I don't know how we manage to live togther.

Her long dark brown hair flows past her shouders, the tips dyed an excruciating blonde color. Her figure is long and skinny, as well as mine. That's the only similarity I can find. She has a lip piercing and atleast five others in each of her ears. She got her first tattoo last week, I cringe at it. Jenn's punk-rock style makes us look awkward together. She dresses in black skinny jeans and a black flowy shirt, and way too many bracelts. Of course I can't forget her maroon and black converse. Oddly, she wears her style well.

I forget about all of this when something catches my eye, I arrive at school and exit Jenn's car. I see Niall with his perfect hair with his stunning smile. I turn around and see Louis and Jenn kissing against her car. They sicken me that's all they do. I see Niall walking towards me.

Nialls mouth opens and says, "Hey Ashley, can you help me find my classes?"

I ask Niall, "Can I see your schedule?"

Nialls hands me his shedule. I exam it and look for the classes he has I see we have health,math,science,lunch and pe.

I tell Niall to follow me and show him to health. I take my seat and he decides to take the empty seat next me. I daydream while Mr.Rush is teaching, I dream about Niall and I. I see him leaning me against my locker telling me how much he loves me, I bite his bottom lip ,he squeezes my waist and tells me he will never let me go. I hear a slam on my desk and it's Mr.Rush telling me to pay attention. I think to my self how embarrassing is that, I started daydreaming and thinking about Niall.
