I start my day as I would always start it. Brush my hair then my teeth. Then I would make my way pass the cells with the people.

I have been in here for almost a year. And no I'm not in prison. But, I am at juvenile detention center. My father works as one of the guards. As I walk down the hallway I think about all the people here, whom at first I was scared to even meet.

The youngest boy here is 10. He says he was 9 when his mother put him here. He still talks about the things he did. And when he did them he felt as if he was on Cloud 9. I worry about him. I worry about his future.

I have friends here, surprisingly. They range all over the personality spectrum. Some are super peppy for their own good, and others are the 'don't talk to me I'm just trying to get through this job' kind a look.

Tyler. I have a friend here. His name is Tyler. And whenever he is around me he is too close for comfort. I talked to my friend Julia about it but she says he might like me.

But, how could he? The only reason I'm here is because someone was claiming they were 'in love with me' and when I rejected him. He went crazy. I always thought that since we know who he is we could find him but he has other plans.

Tyler. That name keeps repeating in my head all day.

It is now night and I get thirsty at night so I go and get water. Walking into the lounge getting my water I close the freezer door to see Tyler.

'Hello' I hear myself say. He says nothing back to me. Just staring at me.

'What are you doing up?' I ask.

'I heard a noise.' Weird. How could he? His room is not even close to here. Trying to get away.

'Goodbye, Tyler.' Walking away getting nothing as a reply.

Walking back to my room the lights start to flicker on and off. Continuing my walk very slowly, the lights go out.

When the lights turn on I see the one face that always haunts my dreams.
