    How to find another

As she walks down the streets of her hometown, the snow called for in the forecast begins to come down. She never minded the cold, she grew up in it, but lately it seemed as though the winters were becoming colder and more harsh. Only begin 27 she shouldn't feel this way, but after the crushing defeat at her last violin showing and the downfall of her career, she didn't care about much anymore. Her smile that shined as bright as the sun had vanished, her tan skin became cold and pale, she got sick much more often, and her blue eyes that could reflect the ocean had dulled. Now, this legendary woman that had given so many people dreams was nothing more than an... ordinary person.

"I'm home." She announced to the empty house as she opened the door. As she stepped inside, took her shoes off, then turned on the lights to her house so she could make her way to the kitchen. Once in there, she made what she did everyday, the same old rice and chicken that became dull to her taste buds last year. Living in a small village just outside of Atame, Japan not much happened and that was ok. She didn't want anymore excitement in her life, she was done, she would live out the rest of her life like this no matter what anyone said.

She had lost her mom when she was only a child and had started her violin career in honor of that. Her dad, well, was never really around for her. He was always working, she could only recall one showing he had been to and he never said anything about it... normal. It didn't bother her anymore, he had never shown her that he was ever proud of anything she did and at this point in her life that was ok. As she placed her chicken on her rice inside a bowl she reflected on what she use to be, she hated reflecting. It brought happiness, but it also brought pain and she was tired of hurting. Tired of being happy, she just wanted all these useless feelings to go away forever so she could become a woman that no one would expect anything from ever again.

As she ate her food and watched the news on her couch, just like every night, she noticed that more and more kids around Japan were ending up on the streets. She just shook her head and finished her meal, went to the kitchen, washed her bowl, then went straight to her room. She lied down on her bed and pulled the blankets over her then drifted off to sleep.

"Now ladies and gentlemen the woman you have all been waiting for, the one and only Akira Tottori!" The crowd roars into applause as a beautiful woman stands before the crowd. Her long white hair shined under the multi colored lights, her bright blue eyes sparkling, her tan skin highlighting her entire person, wearing a bright red and sparkling outfit that fit her body perfectly. She was holding a lovely dark wood violin that shined brighter than the stars in the sky. As placed the violin under her chin and as she began to play a soft hum of notes ran through the theater, the song started off slow and graceful, but then the tempo started to pick up and the woman started to dance across the stage. Her steps flowed so well with the notes that came from her violin that no one in the audience dared to look away, afraid to miss a single second of the entrancing performance.

She was free, she was herself... and she was happy. When she was playing her violin, it was like she was filling the empty gap in her soul. She could breath easier, her mind stopped all of its random and pointless thoughts, all she cared about was her music. She had started to add dancing to her performance not long ago and that's what set off her career. As her song ended, the notes became soft again, then she bowed as she held her final note. The crowd jumped to their feet, clapping and cheering, all for her for what she had created. They tossed roses up to the stage and the woman bowed deeply to the people that took the time to come and watch her.
