Well that was unexpected...

Amelia - Present tense -

"SHUT UP" i screamed at the top of my lungs, two pairs of wide eyes were staring at me.

"Am-"

I quickly glared in Athan's direction, well you may be wondering what happened and how everything turned down hill well let me tell you.

My eyes felt like they were glued together, i clenched my hands by my sides and tried to feel around my surroundings as panic surged up in me. The surface was smooth and quite cold, i shivered then i heard mumbling noises near me.

"She will awake soon" the first person whispered in a hushed tone. I couldn't recognize the person's voice so i continued listening.

"Yes she will, so we will take her to keep her safe and put her in a boarding school -"

My eyes shot open and i sat up to find myself spread out across the back seats of a car, i turned around to see two people sat there.

I quickly cut off his sentence mid-way "Let me out now before i start to scream" i threatened glaring at the two men sat before me.

The two men turned around and started to laugh, the first boy spoke he looked quite young "no you are coming with us".

I glared at them and reached for the door handle desperately pulling on it, it wouldn't open. Panic struck me, please please let this be a nightmare and let me wake up. I pinched my arm and re-opened my eyes to see two amused faces staring at me.

"Its not a dream Amelia" the second one spoke in an amused tone.

I glared at them both and started to scream but the first boy grabbed me and covered my mouth muffling my scream. I stared wide eyes.

He started to speak in a hushed tone "my name is Athan remember, this is Mr Bloodfang your new science teacher. We met a few hours ago before you passed out".

I remembered everything, but thought back to their conversation " i want to go home" i exclaimed.

They chuckled "what home, that orphanage?" Athan asked rather amused by my sudden outburst.

I stared down at my hands and clenched them but found no use talking to them, i was being kidnapped but i guess no one cared about me. I glanced and peered out of the car window as i sank back into the car seat.

"So we are taking you to Bloodrayne Academy -"

"No you are not, you are going to turn back and take me home" i stopped him in the middle of his sentence.

"No you are coming whether you like it or not" Athan muttered darkly. As a big old building in the middle of no-where came into view. Yay just my luck i thought.

So that is how i ended up where i am now...

Amelia - Present tense -

"So you are sending me to a boarding school and you will not tell me why or let me have a choice in the matter, that is great, my day is turning out to be great!" i said sarcastically while glaring at Athan and Mr Bloodfang.

"Please Amelia this is for the best" they both said while pulling a suitcase out of the car and heading towards the big building.

I took a quick glance their way and turned around to walk back down the road we came from, "i am not going" i yelled.

Suddenly a pair of hands grabbed me around my waist and dragged me towards the old towering building. I screamed and kicked but it got me no where as he tightened his grip each time i moved. So i lay limp in his arms like a lifeless doll, all emotions drained out of me as the only noise i could hear was the constant grasshoppers and the birds chirping from the side of the school. Yay a creepy dark forest i thought to myself, i was terrified as we took each step closer to my prison.

Only moments later we were entering the big building, i had to admit close up it looked amazing, but i would not tell these two that. I just wanted to get away from here though as the air around the place was thick and an odor of death hung around the place. I sighed still lifeless in Athan's arms but he still kept a tight grip on me which was beginning to hurt i am sure i would have a bruise there tomorrow.

Suddenly i heard a loud echoing sound vibrate around the entire school, i jumped out of my lifeless state in shock as my heart started beating rapidly.

"It was only the bell Amelia" Athan sighed.

I felt stupid, i started to feel the floor vibrate and looked around to see students shoving past one another than come to a halt turning all their drilling gazes onto us. I felt humiliated and wished i could crawl into a hole and die. Athan raised his hand and signalled them to go off or something as they all seemed to disappear. He began strolling along again towards a gigantic door which was slightly ajar then burst through without knocking like he owned the place.

I only caught sight of one tall tanned man in the room, he was quite young and seemed to be pacing about his room. He turned and looked at us, his face paled but when he saw Mr Bloodfang he smiled.

"Hello Kyle" Mr Bloodfang exclaimed. I am guessing this guy is the headteacher i thought to myself.

"Yes you are correct child" Kyle said.

Wait did i say that out loud, i covered my mouth and stared wide eyed at them all, my gaze finally settling on the headteacher.

"I see you have not told her, and if she does not know why is she here?" Kyle asked with a hint of anger in his eyes.

Mr Bloodfang stepped forward and said "this is Amelia daughter of Pureblood Bloodrayne".

Kyle's looked shocked and stared at me in disbelief. "You cannot be serious Amelia disappeared as we all know 10 years ago.

My heart rate picked up, i was a daughter, i had a family. My eyes started to water as tears welled up in my eyes.

I was signed up all too soon to this boarding school, Kyle or should i say the headteacher was amazed by me. But i had no idea why, but before we left the room Athan said 'she is on the verge of change'. I am quite puzzled so i will ask him about that later as i was pushed to go find my dorm while they had a catch up.

I strolled around the corridors not knowing which way to go to find my dorm, all they had given me was a key with the number 13 engraved onto it. Yes i am just too lucky. I stared at the floor not thinking about which direction i was going in.

I walked into something and fell back, why was a wall in the middle of the corridor i thought. But when i looked up i found a boy who looked exactly like Athan but this boy's face showed shock, his eyes showed a hint of anger and other mixed emotions.

He reached his hand out and pulled me up, i took this time to look him over. He had black hair which looked silky like that black rose i found in my room this morning. His eyes were mysterious pools of an electric blue and his skin was slightly pale.

"Who are you" he asked rather rudely.

I stared at him and took a step back before ignoring his comment and wondering off to find my dorm, seriously what a jerk i thought.

"I heard that!" he exclaimed. I turned to him in shock. I didn't say that out loud i am sure of it, can he read my mind i thought. 'Yes i can stupid' said the voice in my head. This cannot be happening, i turned and ran without thinking, i was going crazy.
