»Elizabeth's POV«
Dear Diary,
I've killed a man. The stalker tried to approach me. He came towards me, on his knees, an utterly pathetic wretch. He begged for my "mercy and love," whatever THAT means. He was actually not bad looking, with dark brown hair, and eyes that were such a dark green that they were almost black. However, he looked skinny and kind of like a puppy that had been kicked by its master. And his skin was deathly pale. It was really weird to see this wretch of a boy in the light for the first time. But it was unnerving. Especially when he started coming closer to me. I screamed and started running, but he was faster. He grabbed my leg, and his grip was clammy and cold. He pulled me down into the dirt. That's when I got my dagger out, and held it against his pale throat. I sliced a thin line onto his Adam's apple, which shone an angry red. When he tried to speak, a fat bead of blood squeezed out of the slit and rolled down to spatter in the dirt. It left a dark stain. It took a while to realise that he was forming words. "Please....... Tell me........" he wheezed. "What..... is..... your....... name?" "Elizabeth, but I don't know why you care," I snapped back. I didn't know what he wanted. I still don't. Then he spoke some final words. "Remember...... me. My........ name....... is....... Lucian. I...... love................ you." Then, he signed with.... what? Satisfaction? Resignation? Well, he sighed with SOMETHING, right as my blade left his throat and entered his chest. I felt the dagger strike home: his twisted heart. And that was the end of Lucian, the demented stalker. His blood has pooled in the dirt of Greenwood Drive, the dirt road west of my house. And I don't know what to do next.
Signed,
Elizabeth
