Hey guys, this is my new book so stick with me and I hope you like it

cashmere and I have always been really close. people always say that we look alike and I can see why. we both have blond hair and brown eyes and, we both have a tall, masculine frame.
We had been good friends in our earlier years but in our teens we had never been closer, that was until the reaping. it was the sixty-third hunger games this year and it was my turn to volunteer. me and cashmeres plan was that I would volunteer this year and she would next year. I knew that if we pulled it off cashmere and I would be capital favourites, two siblings winning back-to-back games.

As we walk to the reaping me and cashmere don't talk. I can tell she's nervous about her name being chosen out of the bowl but, I know she's more nervous about me volunteering. We both get our fingers pricked and I make my way to the sixteen-year-old section while cashmere heds to the seventeen-year-old section. district ones escort, elanay I think her name is walks out "welcome everybody now, we are slightly off schedule so lets get on with it as fast as we can" she says "so lady's first................. emerald clearton" she says searching the croud. about 30 seconds later a girl from the twelve year old section steps out and walks rather fast to the stage. "now for the boys...........raften stactual" she says quickly and annoyed "I volunteer!" I shout and almost run up to the stage. "well you look very eager, what for?" Elanay asks "oh, Nothing I am just excited" is the only thing that I can think of. "we'll shake hands you two" elanay says and it's over, then we get shoved into the justice building.

I know it was really short I will make the chapters longer just wanted to do a little bit.
