In Love With The Dead

Chapter 4

I started walking home thinking about the good times me and my father had. He did by going to work one day and got ran over by a drunk driver that they never found the culprit who did this to my father that day.

I kept walking and I was only five blocks away when I felt a present behind me. I kept calm because everyone sometimes come down this street. But it had gotten too far when the person kept doing the exactly same turns and straights I kept doing basically following my every move.

I turned around. "Who are you?" I yelled but I stopped at you when I saw this very hot boy that makes butterflies erupts in my stomach.

"Hi I'm Jace can you show me around?" he ask smiling and my knees went weak.

Jace's POV

I finally saw her while I was in the sky and I immediately started dropping because my knees went weak. I started following her and she finally turned around but only yelled. I didn't know what to do so I just said anything that came into my mind.

"Hi I'm Jace can you show me around?" I asked and smiled. She smiles back at me and I have to catch her because she was falling. As soon as I caught her I felt sparks going through my hand all the way to the top and bottom of my body.

"S-s-sure umm well you can come to my house first and eat if you're hungry." she said as she stood up straight. If you have blood there? I thought.

"Sure. Lead the way." I said gesturing my arms to the front of me.

We start walking to what I'm guessing her house not making much conversation.

We finally made it to what I'm guessing is her house. It's not really big but it looks comfortable.

"Okay well come inside and sit down on the couch while I go freshen up." she says opening the door. Since I was invited in I just walked right in and sat down.

I looked around my soul mate's living room. I picked up a picture with her and what I'm guessing her parents and siblings, they look so peaceful and happy like they have no problems on the world. I smile and picked up a picture but this time it's without the father and the mother look horrible. She has dark bags under her eyes and her lips looks blacker then the first picture I picked up. The children however are still smiling but in their eyes seems dark like they are smiling on the outside but on the inside they are miserable.

I was interrupted when I was about to pick up another picture. "Uhmmm." somebody cleared their throat. I turned around smoothly and saw a teenage boy.

"Um who are you?" the boy says.

"Me? I'm Jace. Your what I'm guessing sister led me here to grab a bite to eat." I said smirking. I am so cheesy.

"Oh well um. I'm Adien, and yeah Bree is my sister." he say smiling. I smiled too because I got to meet my soon to be brother.

"Well she is something else I already know. It's like I have some type of need to be connected connection. You know?" 

He looked at me in a strange way and I could get a vibe of how he wanted me to be gone but that's when Bree came downstairs in a new outfit. 

She was wearing a baby blue dress with no straps and blue baby heels. 

"I see you've met the big bro." her heavenly voice said skipping carefully down the stairs.

"Yup he has, and where are you taking him?" Aiden asks.

"Jace here wanted to go on a tour through the city. I'm guessing he's new here or else he'd get a regular tour with an actual tour guide." she said flipping her hair out of her face giggling. Not to sound like a creep but I was watching and replaying every one of her moves in slomotion.

"Well just show me a tour until we see tour guides." I said swiftly and Bree and Aiden look at each other exchanging facial expressions before laughing.

I was going to join them but their laugh was cut short when two little look alikes ran through the living room.

"Stop Adrianna! Give me back Thor!" the little boy yelled. 

"But Max! Thor was just joining me for a tea party." Adrianna yelled.

Aiden and Bree picked up one look alike and started tickling their tummies making them laugh and shriek. 

"What's going on you two?" Aidne ask.

"I was playing with Thor but Ade took him from me for her dumb tea party." Max pouted crossing his arms over his chest.

"Hey hey! Ade's tea party is not dumb, now apologize." Bree said taking defense for Adrianna when she started sobbing.

"I'm sorry Ade, your tea party is not dumb." Max said. 

"That's better super Maxy! Fly AWAY!" she yelled and carried him around the room while he was in a Super Man pose as he's flying for real. Just wait until me and you're sister is married, you could fly for real. I thought.

"You ready to go?" Bree asked as she puts Max down to run upstairs somewhere.

"Yup!" I exclaimed a little bit too happy.

"Well let's go. See ya Aid." she called behind her as she led me to the door.
