I sped down the dark abandoned street, hoping that he wouldn't find me. My long chestnut brown hair flowed behind me as I sprinted. Though I knew I couldn't run forever. He was too fast, and way too smart for that matter. He would find me sooner or later. I looked at my feet with my bright green orbs as I ran to make sure I didn't trip over the untied laces, on my converse. I looked up just in time to see a small object flying toward me. The rock flew centimeters away from my face. I felt myself falter as I froze in complete fear. I looked down the dark street to see the man's tall silhouette appear a few houses in front of me. I spun around as fast as I could and sprinted in the opposite direction.
My heart thumped faster and faster as I jogged through the town. Sweat began to run down my face. I needed to find shelter. Fast. As I passed a large blue house, the door swung open. "In here..." Someone whispered as I jumped in surprise. The last thing I expected was someone to try and help me. I immediately ran into the stranger's house without a thought. I collapsed on the floor as the door was shut. The lights flickered on after the door was closed. I coughed as I attempted to regain my breath.
"Thank you so...much," I talked in between breaths. Sweat drops fell from my forehead to the floor. "Someone is after me.." I stood up to properly talk to my savior but as soon as I turned around a piece of me died inside.
A white mask reflected the light from the ceiling. The lips and eyebrows painted black like a porcelain doll. Red stains covered his whole body. The yellow hood covered most of his dark hair. On his legs were ripped up black skinny jeans that showed bits of his pale skin. I stumbled backward, my pink lips slightly parted. He stepped forward as I stared at him with an intense glare. Fear took over my body as I shook uncontrollably. I tried to cover up my emotions by glaring even more but I knew he could see right through me.
He forcefully pushed me onto the floor with his gloved hands. I hit the hardwood floor and winced. He placed his black boot over my slim stomach and pressed. I closed my eyes, preparing for pain to embrace my form. He lifted his foot up and stomped as hard as he could onto my ribs. A sickening crackle was heard. I doubled over and cried in agony. Pain rushed through my bones, creating a tsunami of suffering.
I scoured the room with my eyes, desperate for an escape. I lay on my stomach, facing the opposite way of the killer. I looked straight ahead of me to see a steep staircase. "No...I can't run from him." I thought silently. I looked to my right where a golf club lay by a pile of golf balls. "That on the other hand, might work" I silently told myself as I turned over on my back to face the silent killer. "I just have to wait for my perfect opportunity."
He raised his foot again and I closed my eyes. It felt like hours that I just sat there, waiting for the pain to hit. But the pain didn't arrive. I slowly opened my eyes to see another man standing in the now opened doorway. The white masked man's foot was frozen a few feet above my figure.
He was a bit shorter than the porcelain male, though they were both super tall. The new man wore a black fabricated mask that had red sewing on it. The red sewing created a frown and two large eyes. His orange hoodie covered the top of his head and blood rested on his chest just like the other. Both of them stared at eachother making no movements.
Everything after that went in slow motion. I jumped up and grabbed the metal golf club. I swung around just in time to hit the porcelain guy's mask. He fell to the ground, and a low growl was heard from under the mask. I darted past the other man while he helped the other up. I opened the door as fast as possible and darted out.
As I ran I felt painful vibrations in my ribs where bones had snapped. Every step I took sent a numb tingling through my whole body. My vision started to blur and my ears started to ring as I became sluggish. The numbness in my body got more and more intense as I walked on. I felt something touch my shoulder and I slowly turned around to see the frowny faced killer starring back at me.
