BUZZ. BUZZ.

...

BUZZ. BUZZ.

You growled and snatched your phone.

"Whoever the FUCK you are, waking me up at 4am, you got some DAMN guts."

"Wakey, wakey, [nickname]~" hearing the familiar voice, you groaned in dismay and pulled the fluffy blanket over your head, still keeping the call with the cheery voice nonetheless.

"Carriedo, you better have a good excuse." you threatened, your voice still a bit groggy.

"We have a flight today, chica! Or have you forgotten?"

Oh yeah. That's right.

"Mmm..." you hummed, and sat up sleepily. "I'm up. When is our flight?"

"7:30, chica!"

"Mkayy.." you drawled out. Getting off your bed, you admired the ombre sky outside your window sills.

Placing your phone on the sink, you proceeded to brush your teeth. Your call was still going, though.

"Click! Rustle." you heard through the phone. You paid no mind, however.

Putting on your black leggings and simple croptop, along with a wool, grey cardigan, you grabbed your luggage and went downstairs, only to be greeted with a familiar brunette.

"Antonio, how the heck did you get into my house?"

Said person was sitting on your couch, scrolling through his phone. His head was a mess of bedhair, only adding to his already curly hair (to which, you had taken notice to, and giggled internally). Hearing your voice, he turned back, a smile forming almost instantly.

"Hola, [nickname]! I used the front door, of course!" you gave him the "are you kidding me" eyes, and he pouted, "Aww... You're no fun, chica! I used the spare key! You showed us where it was, remember?"

"Right...why in the world did I do that..." you thought. "You could've told me that the flight was gonna be at this hour, not 'very early in the morning' so I could actually have gotten myself ready beforehand." you said, although no hint of annoyance was in your voice. Antonio only smiled cheekily, and stood up to stretch, before making his way over to you.

"I can help with that, chica." he said, and took the luggage out of your hand.

"I can manage, Anton-"

"No, no, chica. What type of man would I be if I don't help you?" he insited, and you sighed softly, giving him your things. He smiled in contentment.

"There's already a cab waiting for us outside." you nodded and headed outside, where, as he said, a cab was waiting, followed by the Spaniard.

The ride to the airport wasnt particularly long, and you gazed out of the window, admiring the early sunrise. Somewhere halfway through the ride, your sleepiness took over, and you dozed off, not knowing that you were leaning onto your companion's shoulder.

"[nickname]..muy linda..." he found himself mumbling, and turned his attention to the passing-by scenery, partly to hide the blush that was creeping onto his face.

~ Time-skip to during the flight ~

You couldn't remember the last time you've been on a plane. The image outside your window was mesmerising, and you let mind drift away into the clouds and the vibrant blue sky.
