I opened my eyes. I was in the small room again, this time I was laying on the bed, not tied down or anything. I looked to my side and saw the girl I saved watching me. "Hi." I said awkwardly.

"Hi." She responded. She was holding a hand gun.

I sat up and checked my bandages. They were new, fresh. I looked at the girl.

She put her index finger on her lips and smiled. "Don't tell, Rick's gonna be mad at me."

Rick?

I put my hand over my head. "Thanks."

"My name's Rosita." She said putting her hand out for me to shake.

I squinted at her. "Hm." I shook her hand not telling her my name. "Sorry about your," I pointed at her ankle. "Yeah." I shook my head.

"Thank you." She said.

She was being nice, a little too nice. Especially to a stranger.

"Look." I sat on the edge of the bed and leaned over. "I will only talk to your leader."

There was a pause.

She frowned. "Ok...I am thankful for what you did." She opened the door and turned her back against me. She stopped before stepping out. "I know you're not a bad person." She walked out.

She was wrong. I'm not a good person.

The leader came in. As he passed Rosita he leaned in and Rosita whispered something in his ear. The leader looked at me. He closed the door. Hewalked across from me and faced me.

I frowned. I could tell he wasn't happy. Well, you can't really tell with this guy.

He leaned his back against the wall and crossed his arm over his chest. "You said you know them." He said in a deep low voice.

I guess this means story time.

I took a deep breathe. "Yeah." I responded unhappy. "Saw the posters, came, they greeted us, let us eat their food." I cringed remembering the taste of the food. "I'm not gonna lie, when we ate it...We were so hungry that we ate a lot and...Enjoyed it." I gritted my teeth.

"When you mean us..."

"I mean me and my friend I was with during the Apocalypse." I said. "My friend was very injured during that time. They told me that he was going to be OK!" My hands clamped. "They said they were going to take care of him that night." I paused and kept thinking back. "I stayed there for two days without seeing my friend. Two days eating their food! I was so cought up with the sanctuary, I didn't stop to think of the person who helped me survive during the last year...then they told me." I said solemnly. "For the past two days, they have been serving me..." Chills ran down my spine as I thought back.

"People." The leader said finishing my sentence.

"Not just people!" I shouted. "My friend!" My hands trembled. "I ate my friend!"

The leader's jaw dropped. "I'm sorry."

"Don't be." I responded. I held my hands together. I looked dead into his eyes.

He leaned away from the wall. "You killed them?" He asked quietly.

"You must know," I said. "You're dealing with a killer in this room."

He looked at me and gave me a serious look. "So are you."

It grew quiet. The air seemed tense and all we did was glare at each other.

I coughed to break the silence. "Ok, that's..." I scratched my neck. "That's, good to know." I said under my breath.

He looked at me. "How many walkers have you killed?" He asked.

I scratched my head. "Too many to count." I answered to a very random question.

Then he stopped and squinted his eyes at me. "How many people did you kill?"

I gulped quietly. "If I told you, I don't think you'd want me to be around." I said.

"I don't want you to be." He said. "Yet you're here." He crossed his arms.

"Yeah." I laughed. "I don't think I'd want to be telling the person, who by the way locked me in this room, about my personal self." I let out a fake smile. "I'm just gonna be straight with you." I said in a serious tone. "I'm not planning on staying long. I hate being here as much as you do." I crossed my arms over my chest. "Now," I stood up. "Obviously we're not friends. I have nothing to do with your business." I put down my arms. "You let me go, we'll forget about this ever happened, I ever happened."

"I can't let you go." He said. "Nah, I can't let you do that."

The same two guys who untied me came in and tied me up again. This time on the bed.

"You're making a big mistake." I said. I didn't resist to them holding me down. It'd only make my matters worse.

They put a gag over my mouth as The leader walked out.
