This chapter has taken me longer than ever to right though short hope you like it and most of all critic it by commenting to better my writing

"Miss, I think you picked my lattē,miss ...miss," she suddenly snapped at the sound of a familiar but not so familiar male voice." Tabby is that you?" It was an old childhood friend dave, he had really changed. The scent of his expensive perfume and his long ,dark,well combed ponytail hair really captivated Tabby's eyes. Tabby stood still in shock. This was unexpected, who knew after all those years they would meet again. Dave was basically Tabby's best friend when they were kids, they would play together and were in the same class in middle school. Basically if Tabby's parents wanted to know where Tabby was they would call Dave's home cell and ask for Dave who would tell them where tabby was.
"We should meet up and catch up, right now I'm kind of in a rush since my lunch break is over," tabby said as she snapped out of the astonishing moment. Dave with his charming smile reached deep into his pockets,pulled out his wallet and gave tabby his business card." Meeting you has made my day." Dave's comment rekindled Tabby's childhood memories .

Tabby now at her work place had many thoughts and questions going through her head all involving Dave.
On this very day of Tabby's hard work at work would bare fruits for her. She had been working on an encryption code which would enable her to get some valuable information on the director of one of the prestigious international banks.
There were suspicions that Mr. Alfie who happens to be the director of Westbank is involved in drug smuggling with a very wealthy cartel.

" Tabby, Joe has called for a meeting a sudden meeting at four and made it clear that all employees should purpose to attend," Molly, Joes assistant notified tabby. Joe was the current director of HSI .Tabby response to Molly was a smile.

As soon as tabby walked to the room all other employees started applauding her. Tabby seemed confused as she walked in a path formed by the employees which lead to where Joe was standing. Butterflies filled Tabby's stomach and as she approached Joe yet she managed to keep her usual smile.
" Tabby you have made us proud , your work on the encryption code of Westbank has helped us close the case of Mr Alfie, your hardwork and decation has caused us to have a reason to celebrate," Joe paused and hugged Tabby who was more relaxed and composed at the moment.
He continued saying " Guys our being able to close the Alfie case has won us an award in our state, The Order Keeping award,which was taken last time by the FBI who came through for us last time in solving who killed our late senator,"Joe was all smiles and was quick to tell people to gather around tabby and make a tost to her.

It was Tabby's time to shine indeed. Joe's pet was now up for promotion as head of her department which she really deserved. Her first assignment as head of the IT department was to attend a seminar in Doha,Qatar which happens to be the headquarters of the HSI. It was a seminar that converged all the heads of departments of HSI worldwide.

The first day of the 7 day seminar had just ended, night had creeped, in tabby was by the outdoor snack bar in the hotel she had checked into. She was having her evening coffee enjoying the evening breeze as it brushed through her long dark brown hair. The black knee length dress she wore complemented the simple body she had and made her look like the boss she was.

" Tabby!" The voice portrayed a tone suggesting its owner was indeed astonished, " what are you doing here?"
Tabby turned and to her surprise it was Dave, and yes his looks seemed to alert tabby of his presence so much that she looked let alone felt uneasy, she couldn't hide it. Her wide smile and her starring told it all and this made her feel damn I mean which girl wouldn't.
Dave apparently was the head of department for forensics in the DC quarters. Dave Peterson was officially back in her life.
