1958
"Bloody hell!"
I looked up from the magazine I had been reading as stomping feet made their way down the hall towards my bedroom.
"Isabelle!," my twin brother called from outside my door, coming and standing in the doorway to my bedroom, "have you seen me bloody guitar?"
"For Christ sake George, you were just playing it this morning," I replied, returning my attention back to my magazine. "Did you leave it in the living room?"
"George, Paul's here!," our mother called from downstairs.
George banged his fist against the wall. "Dammit."
"Your guitar is leaning against the table in the main hallway in front of the door too! I had Dad pack it up and set it there for you! Now come on you can't keep Paul waiting!"
After our mother finished calling for George, I looked up to him, his face red.
"You're an idiot," I chuckled, looking back to my magazine.
"Shut up," George responded coldly as footsteps made their way up the stairs and down the hall.
"Come on you bloke," I heard Paul call from the hallway. "We're gonna be late if you don't hurry up, and that won't be a good first impression on Johnny. He was already resentful to letting you audition for the band in the first place."
"See you later Belle," George said, hitting on my doorframe before disappearing down the hallway. "I know I know, Jesus do you have to remind me?"
"Good luck!" I called. "You're gonna do great!"

So I'm trying a new route for this book. This is the story I started back about a year ago, and unfortunately I lost it due to my stupidity of deciding to close my account.
I hate that I lost it but unfortunately all I can do is rewrite it. But it gives me a chance to change things up a bit. Idk how I like this start.... but I'm one of those who will make it work!
I hope you all enjoy, and thanks to mccartneytwo for inspiring me to try it again!
