Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Josh’s P.O.V. 

I can’t get her out of my head, (her being Angela). There was just something about her that called to me. My dad told me before he died that there was a feeling that you get when you found that person. He said that it feels like there is no one else in the world. That’s how I feel now. I looked up at the window and saw her. I smiled and she ducked out of the window. Her checks flushed red when she saw me, it was adorable. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I slowly brought it out keeping an eye on the teacher. Mr. Yands was a clueless old man who was half asleep on his desk; I mean what else is going to do on the first day of school. You can’t teach, kids won’t listen I mean dude come on it’s the first day of school. 

I checked my messages, one message from Houston: 

MAN THERE IS A HOT NEW GIRL AT SCHOOL. HER NAMES ANGELA, HOW LONG DO YOU THINK IT’LL TAKE TO GET INTO HER PANTS? LOL. DO YOU WANT TO GO HUNTING TONIGHT, IM STARVING I’M IN THE MOOD FOR SOME DEER. THE PACK NEEDS MORE FOOD AND IT’S OUR TURN TO HUNT SO EITHER TONIGHT OR TOMORROW. 

I grid my teeth together at the thought of him and Angela. I talk to him about her during the hunt tonight. Being a wolf isn’t a blessing, it’s a curse. There’s nothing good about it. The rage is the worst part until you learn to control it. Your need for meat is bad too. My pack is as vegetarian as wolves can get. We only hunt animals no humans, although other packs hunt humans. My pack has done their best to keep them out of our territory and keep humans safe. This is a part of the word they don’t need to know about and I want to keep it that way. 

I texted Houston back: 

WE’LL HUNT TONIGHT. WE NEED TO TALK BRO. 

He texted back instantaneously: 

OKAY. WE’LL TALK AT LUNCH I GTG GUNNA GET BUSTED. 

I slipped my phone into my pocket as the bell for second period rang. I hopped out of my seat and slung my backpack over my shoulder. A smile created on my face when I remembered that Angela was in this period with me. We had 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th together (Fate right!). The only downside is that I also have 5th and 6th with Houston. Knowing him, he’ll be all over her at any chance he gets. We aren’t supposed to get involved with humans. The packs leader had a human wife and he got made one day, turned and scratched her in the face and she almost died. She’s still with him but it just shows how difficult it can be to hold a relationship with a human. Damn, the thought finally crossed my mind, Angela's human. Well I guess she could be a wolf but there’s no way to find out unless she knows and tells me. Well there is another way but it would take me a while for her to let me. When to wolves kiss you just know right away what they are. 

I wouldn’t be surprised if she was a wolf, over half the city is. It’s wolf central here. We have different clans all around the city but my clan: Aquene meaning peace in the Native American language is most peaceful and helpful to humans. We work with other clans and make allies. We have allies everywhere. We have enemies as well, ones we can’t seem to shake, and the Dezba tribe is the worst their name means to go to war. That’s exactly what they do; they always have to be fighting someone or their not satisfied. Our tribe is the biggest in the county, so we help fight of our allies enemies who are in need of the help. 

I walked into the class room to see Angela talking to another guy from the football team, what is up with her and guys from the team. Do they all really have the hots for her? Okay I need to calm down, their just talking. I walk over to the desk and searched the board to see if it is free seating, it is. I sat in the seat next to her and Dustin scrammed at the sight of me. For some reason I think I scare him.

SORRY THIS WAS VERY SHORT BECAUSE I HAD HOMEWORK AND ALL.....TOOOOO MUCH HOME WORK AND AB WORK. :/
