The only emotion I had at that moment was fear, I was terrified of what he would do to me after he found out that the house wasn't up to his liking. He stood in front of me not being able to stand straight, his breath reeked of tequila, he was drunk, I didn't know what he would do next he was always like that when he was drunk you could never tell what he was going to do. that made him extremely dangerous in my mind.

"W-welcome home dear" I stuttered he just glared at me "why isn't this house spotless, you're such a disgrace of a woman, after all you should already be making your man some food" Sam said, venom easily being heard as he spoke. Sam raised his hand and slammed it only my pale cheek only leaving a red imprint left, tears threatened to spill but I couldn't free them.

My cheek had a stinging feeling. He grumbled and walked away walking towards the couch to watch tv. I quickly and quietly made him a ham sandwich and brought it to him, my hands still trembling in fear that I did it wrong. He grabbed it roughly from my hands hardly ripping his gaze away from the football game he had been watching and began to eat not giving me the light of day.

As he ate I decided to finish cleaning so I would not be punished again. I put my earbuds in and played some music zoning out quickly not realizing that Sam was yelling my name. I felt a hand grip my arm harshly spinning me around so I became face to face with Sam, the anger in his eyes grew as did the fear in mine. He ripped out my earbuds out of my ears that were still blaring my music " when I call you you will come to me understand" he yelled at me spitting a little as he spoke. Still holding my arm he threw me onto the floor kicking my body repeatedly making me cough up blood. Blood and tears were the only thing I could taste after he stopped taking a breath leaving my body numb and limp I was hardly alive but I just wanted to be dead already.
