Missed Connections

The Talk

*next morning*

[Mariah's POV]

I woke up not knowing where I was. Then I noticed I fell asleep in Chanel's room watching Pretty Little Liars.

I sat up slowly still tired from staying up all night. I rubbed my eyes and yawned still trying to wake up. I got up to go to the bathroom.

*looks in mirror*

I looked a mess. I fell asleep with my hair in a bun, and the clothes I wore from the day before.

I got undressed and got in the shower. As I was in the shower I was just reminiscing about my life. I thought about Ty, the kiss, Chanel, and....MIKE! OMG I FORGOT TO TELL MIKE I COULDN'T MAKE IT YESTERDAY!

I got out of the shower and dried off. I walked past Chanel's room. She was still in a deep sleep. I went to my room and got dressed. I texted Mike.

Mariah: Hey, sorry I couldn't make it yesterday I was really busy.

As I was waiting for him to text me back, I cleaned put the glass from the alarm clock that had fallen the other day.

*phone rings*

It was Mike calling me.

Mariah: Hey, sorry I couldn't make it yesterday.

Mike: Its fine. You wanna hang out today?

Mariah:Yeah, that'd me great.

We talked for about 5mins about where we would hangout and when. We decided to hangout at his house 3:00pm.

It was already 1:45pm and I knew that it took a half hour to get from my house to his. So I went into Chanel's room to wake her up and tell her I was going to Dunkin Donuts. I took me about 2mins to wake her up. She finally rolled over and I asked her if she wanted something. She just nodded and rolled back over.

I went downstairs and got in my car and I was on my way to Dunkin Donuts.

[Ty's POV]

I woke up about a half hour ago. I was still at Eli's house. I got up to go to the bathroom and Eli was still sleeping on the couch. As I got to the bathroom, I called Mariah.

Mariah: Hey

Ty: Hey, what's up

Mariah: Im at Dunkin Donuts waiting for my order.

Ty: Oh, so I was wondering if we could hangout today.

Mariah: Yeah, sure! What time?

Ty: Like 3:00?

Mariah: I can't, I'm busy then. How about 6:00ish?

Ty: Sounds good!

We hung up after that. I wonder why she couldn't hang out at 3:00. Eh, she's probably doing something with Chanel.

[Mariah's POV]

I finally got my order and went back home. I walked into the house and saw Chanel watching Fast & Furious. I guess she didn't hear me walk in because she didn't say anything.

Mariah: I can't believe Paul Walker died! I loved him so freaking much!!

Chanel jumped up scared out of her mind.

Chanel: OH MY GOSH, MARIAH!!!

Mariah: Hahaha, sorry.

Chanel: Whatever.

Mariah: But seriously I can't believe that Paul Walker died. Its crazy that he stared in a moving that had to do with a lot of fast cars and crazy stunts. Then he happens to die because of a car crash.

*long silence*

It was around 2:10 now.

Mariah: I going to get ready to go to Mike's house now.

Chanel: Aren't you dating Ty?

Mariah: Yeah?

Chanel: Oh, well why are you going to Mike's house?

Mariah: Because he has something to tell me that he's had to tell me for a few days now.

Chanel: Does Ty know your going to Mike's house?

Mariah: He just knows that I'm busy and I can't hangout with him until 6:00.

Chanel: What if Mike likes you?

Mariah: I doubt it, I've known him for a really long time and he probably would have told me.

Chanel: He does. What makes you think he doesn't?

Mariah: Because he's like one of my best friends and I know he doesn't like me like that.

It was now 2:20. I was walking out the door to go to my car.

Mariah: I'll text you later when I can okay Chanel?

Chanel: Okay.

I finally got to Mike's house. I was about 2:55. I knocked on the door and in less than a minute he opened that door.

Mike: Hey, come on it.

Mariah: Hey.

I went into his living room and sat on the couch.

Mike: So what's up?

Mariah: Not much.

I didn't know what to say because Chanel had all these thoughts going through my head making me think that Mike likes me.

Mike: Okay, I'm just going to try and get this off of my chest.

We sat there for a minute in silence before he started.

Mike: Well.... I know that we've been friends for a really long time. But I just want to say....I really like you.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been posting lately, I've been going through some things. But I felt like I wanted to make this chapter long, but then when it was super long it decided to all delete...Anyway I hope you guys like this chapter!!!
