Day 1
Do you know what fear smells like?
Do you know what they mean by they smell fear?
I do. It's all I can do.
My ears are weak, I barely use them.
My eyes are sharp, but I might defuse them.
My hands they tremble,
But my voice is silent.
It is broken, it is brilliant but never violent.
I work hard for a title,
Not a stare or a love.
Not a metal.
Can you fix my broken throat?
Do you need to?
I will say it, and I quote,
Words are stronger then voices. One clap. Two clap. Three claps.
Before I knew it the whole audience was clapping so loud I could actually hear it. I wanted to giggle, I wanted to scream in delight. But nothing but a goofy smile quivered opon my lips.
"Again, that was Sean McLaughlin-"
I gave him a hard stare.
"Jack. Sorry." He scratched his head and continued to blabber about the rest of the show.
I wish I could blabber. But I don't aswell. I can be heard over crowds, I can tell anything anywhere.
I just want to be heard.
With or without a voice.
