Chapter 2~Old Friends

  "You.." Bree says to you. "It's been so long!" Bree's screams "OMG it feels like it's been forever!" You say as You give Bree a big hug and tell her that you and your new roomies are there to pledge. "Omg yes, of course!" Bree jumps up in excitement and is pulled back up onto the stage. As she continues "Excuse my interruption, I just saw an old friend. As I was saying, Tonight, everyone is a pledge but we only take three a year so bring all you got.Good Luck Everyone!" As Bree finishes her sentence and Jaylen pulls on your arm and says "Who was that?" You smile widely and reply "Only the most amazing BFF ever!" Jaylen looks at you with jealousy and says "Oh, That's great.." you take a long look at her and take her finger tips and ask "Hey, is everything okay?" Jaylen yanks her hand away from you and says "I'm fine, I'm just tired." She takes a look at you and Courtney and says "I'm gonna head home and go to bed." Jaylen walks out of £¥'s sorority house and heads to the suite.

  You look anxiously look at the door as you feel a tap on your shoulder "Hey, what's wrong?" Says Bree "I think Jaylens not feeling to well." You look back at the door as Bree starts to speak "well, Were sending everyone home in a few minutes, You can head to get her and see what's wrong if you want""sure, Thanks, To be honest, I'm kinda worried.." Bree takes a second to look at you and sees the worry on your face, then says "Look, I'm sure everything is okay, Go talk to her, Courtney can stay and get all the info you guys will need." Courtney perks up and says"Yeah, Of course." " Thanks guys!" You take off out the door towards the suites.

  You walk inside the suite and hear a noise coming from Jaylens room, You slowing and quietly close the front door. You tiptoe to her room and listen in on what's going on. You sit there by the door and start to hear her whimper. "Jaylen..? Is everything okay?" You hear Jaylen get off her bed as you stand up, she opens the door and lets you in as she walks back to her bed and sits down. "It's nothing I just needed some time." "Come on talk to me" Jaylen stares at the ground and says"Can I just get some sleep? Please.." you take a deep breath, look at her and reply "Of course, Get some sleep." You pull her close into a tight hug and kiss her head. You stand up and walk out the door. You walk into your room and fall on the bed and pass out into a deep sleep...

Jaylens POV 

I walked into her room and Took her jacket off for her and her shoes, Thank god she didn't wake up. After that, I put a blanket over her. I feel like I should've talked to her, But I shouldn't put thoughts into her head in any way. I bent down and gave her a kiss on the head. "Goodnight."

The next morning-10AM

  You wake up so find your jacket and shoes on the floor"when did I change? Ugh, who cares, I better talk to Courtney about the sorority." You get up and change into some sweats and and Half sleeve shirt. You step out into the living room to see Courtney and Maddie talking. "Hey guys" "oh hey, your friend Bree said that we have to meet up at the Quad tonight to complete an assignment to pass into the membership." Says Courtney "Okay, Has anyone talked to Jaylen today?" You ask. Maddie perks up and says "Oh earlier she said she would be at the Café for a couple of hours studying" "Oh thanks, did you already tell her Courtney?" You ask. "No I didn't get to" Courtney replies"Okay, I'll go tell her." You walk out the door and head toward the café .

10:30AM

You walk into the café and see Jaylen sitting there in a corner booth drinking a pool of coffee. You walk over to her and say "Hey, what's up?" Jaylen looks up with a grin on her face "Hey there, I'm just drinking coffee" you look at the coffee mug nearly empty and say"need some more?" Jaylen Nods. "Okay, I'll be right back then."

Jaylens POV

I watched her walk away with the coffee mug "I should talk to her when she gets back." Emma walks back with two coffee mugs.

Back at the table

  "Here you go, one cup of steaming coffee" you say cheerfully."I was wondering if we could talk later tonight" asks Jaylen "Sure, I don't have any plans." Jaylen looks at you with joy and says "Thanks""Your Welcome" you reply.

1:00PM

After hanging with Jaylen for a couple hours and telling her what to do about the whole sorority issue tonight, you go to talk to Andrew for a while."Hey, I have a question for you Emma." You perk up and say "Yeah, what's up?" "Well, I heard your friends with Bree the girl in that sorority." You look confused and say "Yeah, what about her?" "Well, I kinda like her, and Is it okay if I maybe date her sometime soon?" You look up with a supprised look on your face" If you like her and she likes you, go for it, but if you hurt her I will make your life a living hell!" Andrew frighteningly looks at you and suddenly nervously replies and says" Woah, Chill, Don't worry, I'll treat her well, you have nothing to worry about." "Good" you reply.

Later that night before the assignment from Bree

~Knock~ "Hey Emma, It's Jaylen, Can we talk?" You open your bedroom door as Jaylen slowly walks in with a remorseful look on her face. "Are you okay? Something seems wrong.." Jaylen looks up with some tears falling down her face." Need a hug?" Jaylen slowly nods as you bring her in for a gentle long hug. Jaylen pulls away and holds her arms and Looks down at the ground"..I.. I think I'm gay...." a long silence grows. After a minute or two Jaylen speaks up "Please sa-"  You cut her off and take her hand as you say"It'll be okay." You wipe the tears off her face and give her a gentle kiss on her forehead." Do you mind if I lay in here for a while?" Jaylen asks  "Sure" you lead her over to the bed and put your arm around her. You both lay in the dark silence for hours....

  11:30PM 

You, Courtney and Jaylen head out to the Quad to find Bree standing there with a clipboard. "Bree, what's up?" "Hey, right on time" says Bree " So for the next week will be Hell Week" "Okay, what does that mean?" Asks Courtney. " For the next week you will be emailed assignments to complete. Which ever group best completes the assignments will be become full out members!" "The first assignment will be emailed to everyone tomorrow, Good luck!" Bree walks away and you Courtney and Jaylen start to walk back to your suite. Jaylen falls behind and starts to hold her arms again. You turn around with a worried look on your face, You slow down to wait for Jaylen to catch up. You walk at the same pace with Jaylen" Stop thinking about it, Your perfectly fine just the way you are, okay?" Jaylen looks up and smiles. "Thank you" she says to you " Your Welcome." Jaylen takes your hand as you guys walk back to your suite...
