Re-Cap:

I never imagined that Hogwarts could be so big! It was really dark outside it gave a dramitic sort of mystery about it.

I woke everyone up, and right on time the conductor gave an announcement, "Last stop, Hogwarts. I repeat, next stop Hogwarts."

I felt impending dread fill me. Everyone will find out and they will hate me....

###############################################

We're here. Hogwarts.  I was so nervous about everyone finding my secret that I could hear my heart was pounding in my head.

"Hey, you okay? You look really pale." Said Hermione with worry in her eyes.

I realized I was holding my breath, and exhaled.

I gave her a fake smile and said, " I'm okay, just felt a little sick from the train ride."

I was good at hiding my emotions, people never notice if I'm hurting inside. I just put a smile on my face and push away my feelings and people think I'm fine. I guess I get that from Voldemort,  hiding my feelings.

I didn't like worrying others. So I hid myself from the world. I just used my crazy weirdness to distract myself from my sad feelings.

"Lia, come on hurry up!" Draco called from a boat up ahead.

I blinked coming back to reality. I realized that I was standing in front of a boat and there was a huge line of annoyed people behind me.

"Whoops!" I let out a nervous laugh and leaped on it causing the boat to sway wildly.

From the corner of my eye I saw Harry and Draco fall off the side. My heart skipped a beat and my stomach twisted as I felt adrenalin spread through me.

I dashed towards them and saw the world slow down around me. It was like those action movies where the epic part is in slow motion.

I reached out and grabbed Harry and Draco, managing to pull them back in the boat. Time immediately started like normal again. I felt heat leave my neck. Wait, when did it heat up? Oh, it's the crimson necklace. So now it acts on its own accord. Great.

Both Harry and Draco thanked me profusely not noticing my dilemma. I sat on one of the seats in the boat, my stomach twisting nervously. I was dreading the sorting hat moment, where my last name will be called out and everyone would know. I didn't want to be feared, rejected, and isolated. Who would?

I came back to reality when the boat thumped against hard ground causing a jolt to run through me.

"Come on! We 'aven't got all day!" Shouted Hagrid.

A woman stepped out of the castle and introduced herself, "I am Professor McGonagall the head of the Gryffindor House. I welcome you to Hogwarts and hope you study..."

She talked for another ten minutes about the importance of working hard. I guess wherever you go, school will always give the same boring speeches.

We followed her in single file line and headed inside the gigantic castle. I felt so small and insignificant compared to the grandeur of the castle. Everyone's footsteps seemed to echo on forever through the large halls as we walked in silence. The castle gave off a medieval feel with torches on the sides. After what seemed like forever we reached two giant doors. My heart was pounding and my hands trembled with worry and nervousness. I didn't care what House I would be in, all I cared about was people finding out my secret.

All the years other than the first years entered first. The rest of us waited outside. I saw Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Draco all enter. Draco shot me a look of sympathy, he knew what was going to happen.

At this point I was hyperventilating.

Finally, the first years got to enter and I gasped, forgetting my panic attack. There were floating candles everywhere. Geez talk about old fashion. Ever heard of electricity? But the ceiling was a whole other level of awesomeness. It was the picture of  the night sky, it seemed so realistic! My eyes widened when I saw a shooting start pass through the painting.

I bumped into someone and let out a, "Oomph!"

I rubbed my nose in pain.

"Watch it!" The boy hissed.

I glared at the back of his head.

An old man with a white beard that reminded me of Gandalf from the movie "The Hobbit", stood up from the table far ahead.

"Welcome! My name is Professor Dumbledore and I am the head master of the school," he said and went on to introduce the other teachers. As if I was going to magically remember all their names. I wasn't even going to try unless they became my teacher.

Oh god, the name calling has begun.

I desperately tried to distract myself as names were being called.

I started to think of words that stated with 'n'; noodle, nut, nutshell, new, name, nutcase, name, nasty, name, name, NAME!

Argh! I can't stop thinking about my name.

"Lianora Riddle," Professor McGonagall called with no expression on her face.

I heard a gasp and murmuring run through the crowd.

My hand shook, I felt like I was going to throw up. I felt my body sway as I pushed through the crowd of first years to get to the hat. Everyone parted around me, staring. I didn't want to see the expressions on the faces of my new friends. They might not want to be friends anymore.

"Bibiddi, Bobbidy, Boo!" I heard a familiar voice call, it was Draco.

I looked at him and felt all the tension leave me, I smiled.

He knew and was still my friend, at least I have one friend that cares and is trying to cheer me up.

With more confidence I turned and walked towards the hat. It was a really old, really freaky, and really badly kept.

I took a deep breath and sat down, noticing some of the teachers had horrified looks while others stared curiously at me. The one person who was actually looking at me sympathetically was Professor Dumb- something, I can't remember his name, it was too long. I'll just call him old man.

I sat down and faced everyone, I looked at Harry, Hermione, and Ron. Their expressions were unreadable.

Meh, whatever, I don't care anymore.

"Which is why you were freaking out so much before coming," said my inner voice sarcastically.

Shut up voice.

That hat was placed on me, shockingly it wasn't as heavy as it looked.

"What the-" The hat muttered, "What is this!? How in the world do you think like this!?"

The hat went on sputtering and complaining, I could practically see steam coming out of it.

I grinned, even the mind reading hat can't 'sort' my mind. Hehe, get it?

Suddenly the hat fell silent and rolled off my head. Oh my god, did I kill it?

Wow, is my brain that bad?

The hat just lay there then started to laugh hysterically, and then cry, then laugh again. It was acting like a pregnant woman with mood swings.

The hat then sobbed out, "I don't know, she's too weird, I wasn't even able to read 10% of her life because of the overcrowded thoughts."

Everyone turned and started at me.

"So....I don't have a House?" I asked out loud.
